These did the trick to fill a big gouge in my wood floor. The color match wasn't exact but by mixing two of the colors, I can no longer tell where it was. I've used these sticks to fill in and cover several furniture scratches and dings. I have a white stick from the first set I purchased on Amazon and used it to fill the little dings in my cheap Ikea desk drawers and in the white molding around the doors and windows in the house. They work and I'm glad to have them. I took one to work to fill a big nick on the edge of my boss's desk. I am a fix-it nut and love finding simple solutions to every day problems.
