MEGA Masters of The Universe Building Toys Set, Snake Mountain with 3802 Pieces, 24 Inches Wide, 6 Micro Action Figures, Adult Collectible

I built a lot of lego and not only was this one of the best builds I have enjoyed but it was tough will all that purple. I never had a snake mountain as kid and now it looks great next to my castle grayskull. A fun build and when it finally dropped to 140$ was reasonable.

One of the franchises that Lego has not monopolized happens to be MOTU. The Masters of the Universe/He-Man franchise happens to be a Mattel product and as such so is the Mega Blocks line. While Mega Blocks aren't as precision quality as Lego they do offer alternate approach to design and play. I find the figures to be much more gratifying than Lego figures with much greater articulation. This also lends itself to them losing limbs easily and potentially getting lost. The Snake Mountain set is big, at more than 2500 pieces it rivals the larger Lego builds. It is also very detailed with meticulous elements that are unique to the MOTU characters and settings. The set comes as 4 individual builds that combine into the single playset. When fitted together they can fold into the "mountain" and also unfold to reveal a detailed interior with playable accessories such as a ladder, great hall table and other scene based elements. The exterior of the build is highly detailed with spikes, stairs, grates, arches and a lava wall that add character and plenty of grounds to host adventures. If you can get this set for under 200$ it is a great bargain, it seems to fluctuate a bit from season to season. I find it to have many more details and elements that the Castle Grayskull does not include. One thing to bear in mind is that these are not Legos and the quality is definitely less than the prestigious 99.9% that Lego maintains in its mold quality. That is one reason that you will find this set much less than if Lego did happen to have the MOTU licensing rights.

Wonderful

I'm a middle aged sucker for MOTU, and also Lego-style building blocks (yes, I know these aren't Lego), so when I discovered that Mega Construx had a line of Masters of the Universe kits, well, let's just say I went overboard. I own them all. This was one of the final ones I needed to complete my collection, but the price was very high when it was first released. I was patient (which is not one of my typical traits). I eventually spotted this item on sale on Amazon for around half of its original price, and finally pulled the trigger. It's everything I wanted it to be. 5 stars, baby.

This was a gift for my son and he really enjoyed it. He loves putting these building sets together. I do think it is a bit pricey but maybe plastic prices have skyrocketed like everything else, but some of these sets are pretty expensive. But the item itself was so much fun for my son and I am happy I got it for him. Highly recommend.

Good quality and good toys ~♡♡

This is a polarizing set. When you get to a fun part, it's very enjoyable, but for the most part it's almost torturous to do. I won't invoke their competitor by name, but suffice to say this set is far too fragile and there is barely any support keeping the five parts together and it won't even join together properly. As soon as I tried to move it, it fell apart. The little periwinkle teeth keep popping off. The exterior was vastly over designed with very little thought given to overall structure. And the pieces HURT. It is not fun to build. I can't imagine a child playing with this. I will say, it is cheap though. That's it's big saving grace. It's a huge set, bigger than any of the "leading competitor's" sets at this price point. But the instructions are nonsensical and the overall build is substandard.

Tout d'abord soyez rassuré, il est indiqué que "le produit est envoyé dans un emballage qui laisse deviner le contenu", oui, mais en fait il s'agit de la boîte brune. Pas d'inquiétude donc au sujet d'éventuelles étiquettes de transport sur la boîte collector qui est décorée interne / externe. 2 notices vous attendent, l'expérience de montage est super, les mini-figurines sont très bien réalisées, avec un coup de coeur pour WEBSTOR. Pas d'erreur de plan, pas de pièces manquantes, je reste impressionné par le niveau de détail et l'ingénierie de l'ensemble qui est exceptionnel. Pour adulte nostalgique qui en a les moyens car il est quand même beaucoup plus cher que le château de ombres.

This is an absolutely incredible build. The sense of satisfaction after finally completing this is fantastic. I absolutely love this set ,and highly recommend. Best thing to know is, that it even keeps play features from the original Snake Mountain playset! My favourite thing about Mega Construx are the MOTU mini figures which are always highly surprising to pose in hand and extremely well detailed. It is big though, and can double in size when you open it. Keep that in mind if you're going to display at home somewhere. A project well worthy of time. Excellent design. A highly well designed kit too. Give yourself time to build it and you should be fine.

Vor ein paar Jahren haben wir uns Castle Grayskull von (damals noch) Mega Construx nach langen Überlegen gekauft. Der Aufbau war fantastisch. Hin und wieder gabs dann die kleinen Sets für zwischendurch. Dann kam die Ankündigung: Snake Mountain von (jetzt) Mega. "Yeah!" 380 Euro "Ups". Okay ist noch Zeit hin, um Kohlen zur Seite zu legen. Dann war es soweit. Wir hatten Urlaub, Snake Mountain vorbestellbar bei Amazon. Bestellt. Wie ein kleines Kind gefreut und auf die Lieferung gewartet. Im Gegensatz zu Grayskull kam Snake Mountain in einem Umkarton (Grayskull kam ohne - heisst: Versandlabel direkt auf die Verpackung, Schade um das schöne Artwork und die Dellen bei den Preise). Im Inneren zwei Kartons mit den tausenden von Teilen und zwei Anleitungen. Der Aufbau war wie bei Mega immer gut zu machen, im Vergleich zu Mitbewerbern teilweise etwas unüblich, hat aber super Spass gemacht. Wir waren gemütlich zwei Tage beschäftigt. Die Minifiguren sind einfach spitze, und zum Schluss hat man diesen schweren, violetten Klotz da stehen. Viele liebevolle Details, keine Sticker! Für mich als Motu Fan war das ein Muss und ich freu mich immer noch darüber. Klar die 370 Euro sind hart, sehr hart. Das muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Aber die Preise bei Mega gehen in der Regel immer nach unten. Wem das zuviel Geld ist und warten kann, sollte bei einer entsprechenden Aktion zugreifen.

Es una construccion magnifica con una muy variada contidad de detalles los cuales la hacen ver muy bien este set es muy divertido de armar y la cantidad de minifiguas es muy buena en conclusion es para todo amante de mottu y de mega que mas puedo decir.
