I Am In Here: A Breathtaking Christian Thriller

This was a unique, intriguing, and unputdownable thriller. It's the very definition of “page-turner." I was hooked from the first sentence to the last.I liked Hale instantly. His narration was very engaging. I loved how strong his faith was. Despite everything he was going through, it never wavered. Talk about inspiring! I was glad he had a friend like Gilbert. His belief in Hale, his loyalty, and the way he still treated him so normally (unlike some other people) was so nice to see. On the other hand, Hale’s stepmom was a nightmare! Cruella de Vil was quite an apt nickname for her.If you’re looking for an exciting and faith-filled thriller, grab a copy of this book. You won’t be disappointed.

The mind doesn’t really shut down because of an accident or birth issue. Love the way Hale does talk in his head and is part of family. Suspenseful!!!

Pros: subject matter was different, which was refreshing. Not too heavy on the Christian content that can sometimes interfere with the actual storyline.Cons: characters were on the caricature-side & some of it just too unbelievable. My POV: rate it 6-1/2 or 7 out of 10

God is overarching through the book. It has suspense, love, depending on God through the darkest time, evil, and jubilation.

I enjoyed that the author captured the thoughts of one who could not talk or move. The need for relationships with others and for God are revealed in here. Also, that the good guys didn’t have to hurt the bad guys to resolve the problem. It really kept me wondering what next. I read it all in one sitting!!!

This is an incredible journey through the eyes of one of the types of people we look over daily.We need to always assume they hear and understand, no matter what we think.Creston has done it again, making me take a look of how I be better at loving one another the way Jesus tells us in John 13…Loved it!

A couple of chapters in I started to put this book aside but it got more and more intriguing. What a unique book!I'm glad I stayed with it to the end. Wonderfully crafted characters, some easy to love and others easy to hate. Thank you, Creston.

Well written but you are really going to have to suspend disbelief for this plot line. Interesting, likable main character, unbelievable plot.

I could not put this book down. Every page was filled with suspense. I love how this author tells the story, never a dull moment.We have a son with severe special needs so this story deeply touched my heart. Dare I say, it even sparked new hope?

This book is a great read, couldn’t be better. Please read it and enjoy it too.It’s clean, involves best friend, a little hopeful romance, some kick downs good humour, suspense, betrayal, forgiveness and a whole lot more. Truly great!

The ability to put the reader inside a character, to look out through their eyes, is rare. Mapes flips between his continually. Well done!
