This is what I hoped a smart health tracking watch would be
I'm an Android user for many years and wanted a small watch that checked the boxes, without needing to be a wrist-worn laptop! I've had two Samsung Galaxy watch variants, I like round analog displays, and they were cool for a while but missed in two major ways, 1) the most important of all, fit, 2) battery life and 3), well, usability. All that is leading up to what this Garmin watch is and does. It's just the right size for my small (man) wrist. The strap holds it in place, it's not a big bulbous affair strapped to a skinny pole, it's a good fit, and also gets the thickness just right. It came charged to about 64%, I charged it to 100% in fairly short order, and I'm now on day 4 and it's at 43%. I'm really happy with that. I've been for 1hr+ activities daily with GPS on and worn it 24x7. If a watch expects to be worn to track sleep, it needs to be worn, not on a charger at night, so another win here. Usability - I'm a big believer in smart things needing to be intuitive and not need manuals to explain them. It paired with my Droid, the Garmin app loaded and communicates without hiccup. The watch reacts appropriately to the turn of my wrist to wake, it's got a sharp and bright display and responds well. What am I using it for? Daily work stuff - a small vibration when I get email (hundreds a day) and MS Teams and text notifications. It brings two factor auth to my wrist instantly. Oh, and it tells the time! Activities - this is really why I wanted it, I'm getting on in life and need to stay active. It's tracking my steps, heart rate, sleep quality, and other facets of daily health, and nudging me for my daily activity and step quota. It makes maps of my hikes, and literally in the last few days is instrumental in support of my last few weeks of losing 8lb simply by being more aware of the need to be active and how much effort I've put in every day. I knew I didn't need top of the range for running etc but also needed one device that I'd always be willing to wear. This checked all the boxes. Very happy with it.

Amazing watch for people who want to casually improve their health
I absolutely love this watch! It's very comfortable to wear. I love the challenges Garmin has - giving me some extra motivation each month to walk and exercise. I'm having some issues with my off-brand bands, so my watch has unfortunately fallen off a number of times BUT not a single scratch on it! It's very durable. And the band it came with works perfectly too. Honestly, this was worth every penny I spent on it. I do wish it came in other colors, but the dark grey is close enough to black that if you switch out the band it can be styled to your liking. Also the battery is amazing. I went on a 17 day vacation and I only had to charge it once toward the end of my trip (Around day 12). I also love the find my phone feature! Note: The Venue Sq 2 does not have every Garmin setting for workouts. For example, it doesn't have the hiking workout. I usually use the Walk one because it tracks all the same things but you can't participate in certain challenges if you don't have the specific workout. I have learned it's very easy to change the name of the workout for your own record keeping. The Garmin app is really nice for all that.

Solid every day watch
I've been using this watch every day since I’ve got it and it's been super helpful. The 12-day battery life is insane, and being able to download different apps and get all my notifications right on my wrist is useful. Also, the fact that I can go swimming not only in pools but also at the beach and get my swimming recorded is another big plus. That said, the exercise tracking is a little meh. There isn't the widest selection of apps to choose from, and I've found the GPS tracking to be pretty spotty at times. That said it’s a solid, reliable watch for basic daily use, but if you’re a serious athlete who needs perfect tracking, it might fall a bit short. I would also recommend buying an extra watch strap because in my opinion, the silicone band is not the most comfortable thing to be wearing on your wrist all day.

Good fitness/exercise watch, but the screen scratches easily
I really like this watch. I like the way it looks, I like the way the buttons feel when you click them, I like the battery life. I bought the little silicone covers that prevent sweat from getting into the charging pins. I definitely recommend getting a pack of those. I think the bezel is a little large, but it doesn't take away from the watch's great display. Garmin's software is pretty good too. Garmin Connect makes it easy to track my weight, hydration, sleep, and exercise. I have used the walking, running, treadmill running, cycling, and weightlifting modes. All of them provide good metrics to help you track your performance in real time. One thing I do not like is how easy it is to scratch the watch face. In the first day or two I already had several micro scratches. I bought two screen protectors but they drastically lower the responsiveness of the touch screen and if you get any water under the covers, like if you're sweating, swimming, or even just washing your hands, then the touch screen becomes very wonky. Overall I like it, but I wouldn't recommend it to a friend until they are fully informed about the display.

Best watch ever.
Best watch ever. Battery last long enough. I can link this watch to a polar heart band also and it helps a lot. The mobile app Garmin Connect is awsome. This watch helps me to train according to my hear rate goal.

Great upgrade for Garmin fitness band wearers
Got this brand new model because my Vivosmart 4 watch band finally broke. I didn't really want to go back to a watch form factor after wearing bands for many years. But this one is super light weight and I can wear it anywhere, even in the water. The battery lasts for days. You can download the Connect IQ app and customize the watch, including adding new features and faces. Interestingly, you can create a custom face in both the IQ app, and on the watch itself, although the options are not the same and results are not consistent. Pros: - Great screen, highly visible in varying light - Good battery life. Much better than the old vivosmart 4, seems like at least a week. - GPS - seems to work well enough on walks/runs I've done. - Nice selection of exercises built in. I've only used walk/run/swim so far. The app has been trying to get me to upload personalized running plans and workouts. Just haven't got to that yet either. - User interface is _mostly_ easy to use, once you figure it out. Cons - Extra info on faces (steps, heartbeat etc), and user interface has very small fonts. It's not a big device after all. But those of us who can't focus up close have a hard time seeing the small things without the glasses - Another weird charger connector. Next version should be able to charge wirelessly. Those other guys do it. - The included band is pretty utilitarian and I already see wear around where the buckle rubs on it. At least it's replaceable with standard sized bands. Overall I am happy with this watch so far.

Reliable and well priced.
Solid battery life. Would have given it 5 stars if I could get the Garmin pay to work.

Quality and very Functional!
Great battery life (puts Apple to shame quite frankly), very comfortable strap, easy to customize watch faces using the Connect IQ app, many free functions (gps/compass/heath/heart rate monitoring, steps/trip calculations etc etc- all of which can be included/excluded on any watch face). Many paid apps/widgets to choose from if you’re willing to open your wallet. Did I say great battery life?? I wear my daily and can easily get 7-8 days on a charge… Significantly cheaper than the Apple products and (in my opinion) is equal in quality.

Comunque il prodotto è ottimo
Il prodotto è ottimo ma la società da cui l'ho acquistato non è attendibile nelle consegne, è arrivato dopo più di un mese abbondantemente dopo la data massima di consegna che avevano comunicato

Smart watch with plenty of features and a good phone app that is not too bulky
A food looking and not too bulky smart watch which requires a bit of patience in getting to grips with it and the phone app, but once sorted it does a good job Important for me is the sleep quality, heart rate/pulse, body battery, steps and respiration features, although there are many more.
