Daelman Stroopwafel - The Original Stroopwafels, Toasted Dutch Waffle Cookies, Made In Holland, No Artificial Colors or Preservatives (4 pack Assortment)

My youngest son introduced me to Stroopwafels -shame on him! Certainly not diet friendly, but these buttery gems are addictive. Featured as an item to make by contestants on the “British Baking Competition”, (nobody could), I quickly gained an added appreciation for this crispy-soft, gooey centered, but not too sweet treat. Placed on the rim of a hot cup of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate, the thin wafer gets warm and soft as the center melts between the layers. Just make sure your cup isn’t wide mouthed and don’t leave it on the cup rim too long, or it will collapse into a disgusting blob in the sea of your beverage. Are they only good when warm? Heck no! Ask my husband who has devoured dozens right out of the box. They’d be the perfect “extra” to a dish of vanilla ice cream too. I favor the chocolate ones, but will never decline a carmel Stroopwafle. I couldn’t really distinguish a flavor difference between the vanilla and coffee ones. We’ve tried others, but found the Dealman brand to be fresher, available in variety packs (great for special gifts for coworkers or friends), and Dealman arrives promptly and well packaged.

I love stroopwafels but I was told it was going to be a pack of 4 not 3. I’m quite disappointed.

I did the variety box, the order is wrapped in shrinkwrap and shipped locally vs from a wharehouse where a few may be skimmed off the top, I read the comments lol and was expecting a few possibly missing by the sugar police. In all seriousness the product seems fresh, you will need willpower to eat just one and save the real for another day. I will buy again.
