I love this stuff
I love this stuff! I am not a martial artist, but an aging marathon runner with bad knees and a wonky ankle. This Dit da Jow has been a valuable part of both recovering from the aches and pains of long or hard workouts (it's not like Tiger Balm, overwhelming the muscle soreness with a burning sensation but soothing similar to arnica, but stronger) and managing the old injuries. It also seems to help with building leg strength over time in conjunction with the workouts. For runners like me who run trails and occasionally get scratched up - be aware that this is tinctured in strong alcohol so cuts can sting when you apply it. The alcohol evaporates rapidly, leaving a wonderful earthy scent.

Excellent product and Customer service!
This product works very well and my mom keeps asking me to order it. And Eastern Holistics has excellent customer service ! When my recent bottle arrived damaged, they immediately responded with resending and keeping me posted on measures they took to insure safe delivery. Will definitely keep ordering this product from this company!!!

Some are better for muscle issues while other formulations for ligament/tendon and/or ...
While the topical Job does help with the minor workout and sparring injuries, my experience has been that Jow is labeled more specifically. Some are better for muscle issues while other formulations for ligament/tendon and/or even bone injuries. In any event, the specifics of the recipe are unclear. Lastly, I find the isopropyl alcohol and even methanol solvents irritating. Some form of ethanol would be preferable and local practitioners I've encountered appear to prefer rum or whiskey solvents. Other than that, it does help a lot during and after a class.

meh. jury still out.
"Glass aged and bottled" ?Wrong. It may be amber, but it's a plastic bottle.Perhaps it was aged in glass [or perhaps not] ...but that description is written to deliberately misleadpeople into thinking it comes in a glass bottle.IMO.Why do that?I've done a couple applications ...just on hands/knuckles which have been hurting.perhaps it's just in my head ...but there seems to be quite a bit of relief ...esp when i compare it to the pain i still feel in my thumb joints ...which i forgot/neglected/skipped during the application.i'll do that right now. ;)so ... if i experience relief in those joints as well ...i'll have to up my number of stars.stay tuned.so far:cons:plastic bottleseems to be mostly alcohol as it evaporates very, very, very quicklyfumes give me a sore throatpros:seems to have brought relief to my finger jointsso ... we will see.

Delivered damaged no way for refund
This was delivered leaking inside the bag there was no seal on it like it had already been used, and when I tried to request a refund I could not. Very pricey to come the way it did.

Great for swelling and soreness
As a guitarist, my hands are prone to overuse injuries and swelling. This product provides relief that rivals the prescription gel I was using, with none of the risks. Reasonably priced and shipped promptly. Highly recommended.
