The Journey Back: Sequel to the Newbery Honor Book The Upstairs Room

important and intersing story

I read The Upstairs Room as a teenager and never realized there was a sequel. Now as an adult, I found the sequel fascinating to read. It's always interesting to find out what happened after the first story ended. I would love to read her memoir of the year after her husband's death as well.

It was great to have closure on this story. We need more people with this kind of courage and stability.

I had looked forward to a story completing the history of her life. Instead, she stopped that story and became very absorbed in the suicide of her husband. I don't care for that much introspection. I find it tedious and she never goes beyond that. I liked her first two books.

This was a very good book so good I want to meet everyone in in it gonna read it again and again

my daughter enjoyed reading this as much, if not more than the Upstairs Room. Nothing like a good old fashion book
