Mr. Glaubitz is a painter who just happens to make comix. Blending richly detailed environments with compelling storytelling and enthralling characters, more than a common comic, this is a graphic journey which we should all partake of. A shaman for modern times, I can't wait for the next book in the Starseeds Saga!

Here is another unique graphic novel, the kind that Fantagraphics seems to specialize in. Anyone seriously interested in the graphic novel is forever grateful for the Seattle company's existence. In this work, Charles Glaubitz guides us through a fever dream of a tale. It is the eternal struggle between the free and the frightening controllers, told in new ways - riveting and exciting, but unlike anything you have probably ever seen before.

This is a graphic novel that works on so many levels. The storyline is fascinating – it speaks about the consciousness with which we are going through this life. And it packs it in a very hypnotic tale of life, death, rebirth. Charles Glaubitz renders this with images that are both concrete and symbolic, and some of the pages are so great I would love to have them as pictures on my wall, because I can't get enough of them. The way the story is told visually is a bit like a movie, it draws you in deeper and deeper and develops a hypnotic pull.So, this is the rare gem where a story worth telling is married to pictures you can't look away from. And all this challenging you to re-think the way you look at life. Man, what a feat!
