Men Are Better Than Women

At parts it seems a bit repetitive. However, there are few books that can make me laugh aloud while reading them. I laughed a ton while reading this. Most of this book is cartoony obviously self aware sexist jokes with a nice hint of truth sprinkled in there. Excellent satire. I'm sure some very stupid people will take the book completely serious

This is a novel-length book on why and how boys rule and girls drool. Don't like it? Skip right along in your Mary Janes. Dick's tongue is planted firmly in his own cheek throughout and provides an incredibly thorough satire of the human condition in regards gender. Every sentence drips with self-mockery and hyperbole, but contains enough half-truths to be extremely relatable.Do not read to your girlfriend thinking she'll get the joke. She won't.

I wanted to give the book two stars just because I got so sick of the steady stream of filthy comments by the author. I think his points could have been made without the post-pubescent barrage of vulgarities. It really adds nothing positive to the discussion, and it gets really, REALLY annoying- so much so that I was tempted to tear the book apart on more than one occasion. I've already been sufficiently desensitized as it is.....In spite of this, there is an enormous amount of truth found in this book. You have to be very patient, because the ranting gets old, as does the swearing, but in the final analysis, what Masterson is saying about women is right on the money. This is no "Predatory Female", and certainly no "Sex-ploytation", but I think it's important for men to read anyway. You just have to prepare yourself; it's not for the faint of heart, and certainly not for the well-mannered. It's offensive, crude, rude, uncultured, and irritating. But, his comments about women are basically accurate.I expect to see more and more books like this as the male backlash against women and feminism grows more angry every year. So, I grudgingly give it five stars for the subject matter, and because I think it reflects just how angry men are becoming with women these days.

The book was much better than expected. It is an awesome analysis of woman behaviour.

I found this book to be hilarious! It takes truths, stereotypes and complete exaggerations and twists them into a highly entertaining read for every man and every woman (well, almost every woman). Although Dick Masterson says that women are strictly not allowed to read this book, I feel that any woman with a sense of humor will thoroughly enjoy this book and the clever wit in which it was written.It was a fun and highly entertaining read. I like to stagger my reading with difficult, challenging books as well as funny, page turning books. The only challenge I had while reading this book was controlling my laughter. If you're a fan of Tucker Max or Chad Kultgen, then you'll probably truly enjoy this book. I did.I give it two big man thumbs up!

On the title: there is a razor-thin line between the two, and Dick walks it like a drunkard who decided to draw his own scraggly line that ended up ten feet to the right. At first, it really does seem like he’s kidding about all of it in a way that could be understood by any fan of South Park, Family Guy, and other shows on that plane of bumbling, obviously false, jeers at a group. Soon after, it completely tosses any respect for females out the window. I never could let myself make any real progress on the book because as soon as the actual material comes, one can sense that he really believe some part of these things, or else he couldn’t write it with any good perception of himself, unless he is a terrible person. Additionally, the language is absolutely horrid.Check his site to see just which crowd he supports and is supported by, with the exception of those who financially support him by purchasing his trash book. Instead of humor, I bought a lesson, a lesson you, the reader of this review, should heed for free.And this is not a reactive feminist move on my part. As a man for everyone’s rights and respect, and also someone who enjoys comedy that will keep itself within certain flexible boundaries, I find this to be appalling. It also does nothing good for the image of males in a society that still has momentum that, if supportive of either movement, is siding with feminism and dismissing men’s rights groups.

As the title says this is a hilarious book, well written. Would and have recommended to friends and coworkers.

absolutely the most insightfully hilarious book i have read in years....i loved it. This book is well argued and the author (a man, of course) gives consistently funny historic examples and simple yet highly effective EVIDENCE to prove why men rule the planet. A solid male argument instead of confusing emotional rambling to decide the feminist/chauvanist debate. That's because that's how men and women differ you see. We go with logic and evidence unobscured by female vain egomania and emotional turmoil. Many men are crap human beings too....oh yes definitely. I know and work with many. Some men give us all a bad name. We're not all bad. Neither are all women. But on the overall balance, men are better. Thats the same in the animal kingdom too. More able, durable, talented and hard working in all spheres of life. What woman ever changed the human race for the better? invented something that truly defined a generation or accelerated the human race to better days for all human beings? Feminists will differ and can argue otherwise all day, all women can argue all day about absolutely anything actually.......but history has shown women to be what they are...not good at anything much really. Spend a few months reading wikipedia and you'll see it clear as day. Apparently, this, like all shortcomings and inabilities/failures in a woman or her life...is of course, mens fault. Since the dawn of time. That's a very long time to show us your good points and usefulness. Women are pathalogically and sociopathically incapable of many things, such as giving a profound and sincere apology but above all they are incapable of accepting either themselves or their shortcomings and pin it all on "all men are bastards" because that's a refuge that requires no thought or evidence. A lazy way out. The vast majority of modern western women are spiteful, self-obsessed, angry, irrational, deceptive, deeply manipulative, vain, batshit crazy and therefore essentially useless to humanity and this book proves it categorically....every single word and anti-feminist argument of this book is funny, insightful and reasonable. and i laughed so much i nearly choked many times.I love how this author writes, consistently hilarious on every page. It is clearly written from hard experience and completely accurate. Sadly In my time i've been variously involved on various levels of friendship, acquaintance and romance with a lot of women from a wide array of different countries, classes, cultures, religions etc and i now completely abstain from women as much as humanly possible and am so much happier for it. My mind body and soul is in good shape nowadays and around 95% female free. No coincidence. You can't argue with this magnificently hilarious book, a guy with a familar relationship history view to myself...hard experience...resulting in a perceptive and concise account of why 95% of modern women have degenarated from being fantastic mothers and providers and givers to selfish lazy modern western women....from seeking equality in the early twentieth century to becoming reactionary feminazi man-hating, self-loathing nutbags from planet hell stinking up the planet with people we don't need. Hey modern girls.... guess what? you hate men? Men aren't exactly crazy about you and your narcissism, your perpetual moody demands and mindgames either...and the guys who pretend to adore the female species have mummy/submission issues or as you all know... are only trying to get laid by saying what you want to hear. Give this author a nobel prize! Wonderful satire by one of the best podcasters on the internet. What's not to love?

Dick Masterson is only ever wrong on The Biggest Problem in the Universe. But he's not wrong with the points he make in "Men Are Better Than Women."
