This carb was an exact replacement for my stihl leaf blower. Mounted up perfectly, but it did take a little tuning with the low and high idle screws. But one good thing is that there are no special tools need to adjust the idle screws, just a screwdriver. We'll pleased with it so far.

Perfect fit for the BG86. Easy replacement and not crazy expensive. Do it yourself instead of taking to the dealer. Had to adjust the Low and High screws but that was to be expected.

Easy to put on with a little mechanical know how…. Cranked right up and with just a little adjustment it’s running like a new ….

My blower now works like it's new! I went back and forth on buying an off-brand carb over the Stihl OEM but for the price, I thought I would give it a chance. I put this on my Stihl BG 86C because it was bogging down. I tried everything such as cleaning the spark arrestor and taking the OEM carb apart and cleaning it. Nothing worked. This is a great buy for the money. Also included new gaskets, spark plug, fuel line, and filter. As you can see from the pictures I included it's identical to the original. I highly recommend this carb!

This fit my blower and ran fine with minor adjustments. BUT!! I had to swap the top part of carburetor with my old carb. The breather would not go back on because the new carb had a nipple sticking out that my original carb did not have . I removed the 4 screws and swapped top part of carb. Easy fix ran great. My blower BG86Z.

For the price, I didn't know what to expect. My BG86Z blower stopped running at anything above idle. I ordered a factory Stihl carburetor for $70.00. While installing the new factory carburetor, I accidentally dropped the new carburetor 3 inches above the desk and the plastic nipple from the primer return line broke off. I phoned my local Stihl dealer to inquire about replacing just that plastic piece since the carburetor was brand new. $40.00 plus tax, just for the white plastic piece. I remembered looking on the internet and finding these inexpensive carburetors. I decided to order one, and see how it went. I carefully put this $20.00 carburetor on, and the blower runs great. I ordered a second one just to rob the white plastic piece from it and put it on my $70.00 Stihl carburetor to save as a backup.

I have a Stihl BG 86 and after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try as opposed to buying an OEM replacement. Installation was fine. It had a third air port that required me to drill a hole in the air filter cover to allow it to protrude thru. That took a little bit of doing in order to get it drilled precisely. I installed the unit, replaced all the nuts and screws. When I went to prime, it did not prime. I hit it with some starting fluid, and it ran very slowly for about a minute, then it started sputtering and it shut itself down. I then went on eBay and purchased an OEM replacement. The blower is now running as if it was brand new.

Everything worked great. Fired right up when installed. Could have used some instructions. Recommend watching a video of the process before starting.
