I looked on the bottle and didn’t see silicone on the ingredient list.

is it pet friendly - like for dogs?

I wouldn’t apply it to dogs unless checking with a vet first.

After the bottle is open what is the expected shelf life?

I don't know the official answer, but I do know if you have the stuff for 6 years and and shake it up, it works just fine.

Does this stain clothes or any cloth material? Or does it dry pretty solid and stay put?

I only applied this only on my hair but it was pretty easy to wash off my hands and it stayed well on my hair. I would be shocked if it were to stain any fabrics.
