Can't go without when making sugar free baked goods!
My favorite sugar substitute. Almost identical to brown sugar in functionality. Tastes great too. Was really surprised Splenda made a plant based sweetener, because I thought they only did sucralose products. Perhaps it's the combination of erythritol, allulose and stevia, but you don't really get an aftertaste with baked goods. It makes for good cookies and banana bread. I even candy pecans with it on the stove, cooking them on low then throwing in a little butter, and it makes a nice toffee, caramelly coating. It's awesome!

Better than the other brown sugar subs I have tried
I had been using another, more expensive brand of sugar free brown sugar (Sukra) which I loved and was happy with. I saw this Splenda version which was significantly less expensive and bought a bag since I go through a LOT of sugar free brown sugar. My husband is diabetic so I can only use sugar free sweeteners in cooking and baking and I also own a home bakery that specializes in sugar free baked goods. It is safe to say that I know my artificial sweeteners! I found the Splenda brand to be just as good as the other brand and I actually liked the texture of the Splenda brown sugar substitute better than the other brand as it isn't as sticky. With the Splenda brand, it is a quality sugar substitute that tastes good, works well, and is a better value than the other brands. When I used this to sprinkle on top of my apple hand pies, it smelled heavenly and no one could tell that they were sugar free! (Well, no added sugar due to the natural sugar in the apples.) The zip lock top is very handy and it is easy for my arthritic hands to use.

GREAT flavor! Very fine and NO after-taste or cooling effect!
I love this sweetner! It is quite fine, really doesn't have much of a gritty texture, but I still ran some through my grinder to make a powdered jar. No aftertaste or cooling effect as many have. The brown sweetner is excellent as well and I've just ordered more of it!

Bakes quite well
this works well but it is hard to get past that strange taste that artificial sweeteners produce. However, it bakes very well.

Okay, but I ultimately passed due to Stevia aftertaste…
I used this for 6 months, but have since stopped using it and moved on to a monk fruit sweetener mix. This Magic Baker captures the sweet high note of sugar well, though it lacks brightness that other non-stevia sweeteners have. And it has a good performance in baked goods, where it’s very slight bitter stevia aftertaste can be overridden by other flavors. The lower grade stevia aftertaste (the finest grades of stevia have no after taste at all) is very slight, but I am sensitive to it and so because I use sweetener in coffee and over fruits as well as baking, this one had to go because of the very slight bitter Stevia aftertaste. May not bother or even be noticed by many others, so you might want to give it a try. But if you’re sensitive to Stevia, aftertaste, or have strong/sensitive tastebuds, I highly recommend you pass this one by.
