First thing first: this is awesome, as far as food thermometers go. The display is very clear, with or without the light, and the temperature reading is spot on. Absolutely well worth the $5. I really don’t see why you would go and spend $10+ on any other thermometer.HOWEVERIf you buy this, do not be an idiot, like me.It’s $5. The body is plastic. Don’t spend $5 and expect some sort of titanium, military grade material. The part that goes into the food, of course, is metal. Obviously. But the body is still plastic. Remember that. What happens to plastic when it gets hot? It melts. If you are going to take the temperature of food while it is still cooking, remember that. I didn’t. I left it in my chicken breast, waiting on the temperature reaching 165F. The body melted. Now the metal rod wiggles all over the place, and occasionally falls out. Yet, amazingly, it still works. Perfectly. So yeah.Tl;dr - this thing is awesome but the body will melt if you forget that 165F is, indeed, hot.

Great cheap buy! I wanted to do some baking with yeast, and wanted to make sure that the water temperature was perfect. Easy to use, switch to F or C, and clear display (It even shows the air temperature if you have it in the air!)

Exactly what I needed. This product works great. I like that there is a light button so I can see the temperature on it better. Great product, great price.Also there customer service rep reached out to make sure everything was as it should be which was a nice touch from a company. Would definitely buy from them again!

Easy to use thermometer. When you turn it on it defaults to Celsius but can be switched to Fahrenheit with a click of a button. Love the light up feature. Used this for meats, desserts, and everything in between. Easy to clean and has a sharper end to easily get through to the center of meats. The probe is quite long as a heads up.

Total garbage. Extremely slow when worked. Take 30 seconds to measure temperature of the meat at about 150F.... slowly counting through 110.... 120.... 130.... 132... 134... 134.4... 134.7....And..... dead in about 45 days of gentle and regular use.Not worth warranty and return period is passed.I would stay away from this product.

Product arrived well packaged. It worked right out of packaging. Readings are accurate and like longer probe. Noted superficial scratches along display, which did not impair difficulty in any way. It did default to centigrade on turning it on but easily switched with push of a button. I did not like battery cover which slides off during use.

Overall, I like this thermometer a lot and I don't know why I waited so long to buy a digital one. It really is instant, but the power button also changes between The temp. So instead of turning it off, I end up going back and forth in temperature, or leaving it on. Could be better, but I like it.

Item arrived as promised. Shipping was free, but is shipped without batteries. I still need to purchase the odd AG-13 batteries (or whatever it calls for), so I have not used it yet. Instructions enclosed seemed fairly straightforward.I will give 'Easy To Use' more stars once I buy batteries for it and actually use it.
