Beautiful item but less functional than I'd hoped
This tongue drum is quite beautiful, but it came with a Chinese musical book that I can't read, some of which has songs with the note available on this tongue drum. It also came with a much smaller English song book. But every song in that book has notes that don't exist on this tongue drum. This drama has number one number 5 and number 6 in two octaves, a number 2 and 3. It has no 4, 7 or 8 on the musical scale. So it won't work for any of the western songs. Since I'm not actually a musician, I would have needed the songbook to be skillful at making any music. The tones are nice though. Someone more musical than me and might be able to figure out how to make nice sound out of it into a song.

Beautiful instrument
The drum came packed very nicely and it was beautiful and sounded so lovely. I had to send it back so that I can reorder it with a gift card I received from my work- literally the day I got it. So I will be reordering it for sure!

Make sure if you buy this that you get one that has all the numbers or you can play more songs.
I did like this but returned it. The sound was really nice and calming. The thing that is strange about it is that the squares with numbers you hit to play music weren’t all there. I don’t remember exactly which numbers were missing but there were two numbers that were missing just say that they were five and eight so when you try to play a song It’s out of tune because the five is missing or the aid is missing and it comes with a little book to play songs with but half the songs in the book you can’t play because you’re missing a couple of the numbers. You have to spend more money to get a different drum That has all the numbers. I just thought that was really strange that they would sell it like that.
