This was a Christmas gift for our toddler. He has played with it every day since Christmas. It is absolutely worth it for the price. So cute! It came with a lot more than I realized (trees, magnetic fish & pole, people) and we had no issues fitting the pieces together so the quality is great. He has wooden Melissa and Doug trains and cars that fit the tracks as well as a battery powered train from Amazon that fits the tracks. Would buy this brand toys again in the future or for add ons.

Great addition to our Hape train sets. I've always felt the Hape ones were missing a few key pieces to allow you to connect a full loop. This set comes with multiple of those pieces, meaning male to male connectors and female to female connectors. The quality of the wood routing is not as nice as the Hape ones, naturally based on their price, but totally worth it still. Maybe you will find one or two in the box which have a poor edge but it's really expanded our train building capabilities and my son loves it.

I chose this set because I wanted my 4 year old to be able to build with all of the pieces without help. The bridges specifically in other sets seemed to be problematic. This set has proven to be great for him to figure out on his own, and the included pieces were very cool. I was happy with the quality upon opening the set. The tracks hold together well (including the bridge!) and don’t come apart when trains are driven over them. The included train cars are great! Durability has been a problem. A couple of the split tracks (switch tracks?) have had one of the pegs snap off- this may have been due to lack of gentleness in handling. The red roof for one of the buildings has broken twice now- I need to glue it back together again. One of the freight cars also came apart- the top box came off the bottom, and my kids said now it’s a flat bed. I don’t know if the pieces breaking is just us being rough with the set. The roof in particular broke because it got stepped on. This gets played with for hours each day, and we’ve had it for several weeks already. Overall I’m happy with it, although disappointed multiple pieces have broken. I did purchase a couple of track expansion sets from other generic brands here on Amazon, and the pieces all work together really well, including some Melissa and Doug tracks we already had- so compatibility with other manufacturers is very good. I would probably buy this again.

This seems like a good train set. My kindergarten students really like it. However, the helicopter pad was broken when I opened the box. Too bad, because it was a really cute piece.UPDATE: The seller contacted me and sent me another train set, free of charge. They were very helpful and wanted to make sure that my classroom had a complete train set with no defects. 😊

Excellent quality for the price!

The wooden house and the station both came broken. Luckily they weren't snapped and I was able to glue them back together. Also a few of the trees were peeling and chipped.They do fit well with my Thomas the train tracks. The trains are alot smaller than Thomas the train wooden trains though.All in all it's a very cute set. The little signs and people are cute. I do like it this set I just wish that it didn't come broken and chipped.
