F2088 Typewriter Mechanical Keyboard, White Retro Wired Gaming Keyboard with Blue Switches, Rainbow Backlit, Round Keycaps, Media Knob & Removable Wrist Rest

This keyboard is beautiful and works perfectly. The little knob on the top right is used to switch through a million different pre-set way to have the back lights on and you can control the brightness of the back lights. The actual keyboard feels very solid and like it's made from strong and durable material, and the best part... the keys are clicky. So if you enjoy the sound of a clicky keyboard I would highly recommend this product, it has been nothing less than amazing for me.

I am a sucker for the clicky keyboards. If you are looking for one this is the one for you! It sounds so good and so satisfying. Is amazing for gaming and typing. The only issue I had with it was my space bar stopped working after a couple years and some of the silver around the keys started cracking off. But other than that everything works great!

I really do like this keyboard. The lights are beautiful and I love that you can dim and brighten them as you find fit. Not to mention is does have different light patterns to switch it up. For it to be a “typewriter” type of keyboard I do feel like it missed the aesthetic of the actual push back of an actual typewriter key and I wouldn’t say it’s mechanical either. It’s in between the two, none the less it clinks and clacks when typing and I use it daily for work. Lastly, if the keys pop off for any reason they are easy to pop back on.

Keyboard is lovely to type on and to listen to. It’s fast and responsive to my 90 wpm typing. The light choices are fun and vary greatly to have a new one every day or so and not get bored with it. I love that it’s wired and doesn’t require batteries. I need the number pad too so this is pretty much perfect for me. It came on time, hooked up without issue, and the price was right.

So, I was very excited to get this! I wanted a new keyboard for my office at work because the one I currently had was simpler and just not exactly what I had expected. The clickiness was not what I wanted and it also ran through batteries like crazy. This keyboard is super fun to type on and not hard to type on either. I struggled a bit more with my previous keyboard actually. The click clacks are perfect! I wish I could have attached a video. But, believe me when I say it's perfect. I chose this keyboard because of the typewriter look and sound. I also liked the fact that it was wired and I wouldn't have to keep on changing the batteries. I'm not into like gaming on a computer so I can't vouch for that , but I love my keyboard. I have to type a lot for my job and the mistakes I do make while typing are just human error. I do wish it had the lock button on the keyboard as most other keyboards do, but I just use the windows key to do just that. I like the volume knob. I do also wish it had the calculator button, but other than just the few buttons I wish it had, it's pretty great. If you're in the market for an affordable keyboard, I would say to get it. It's cute, functional, and it sounds great. I've had it for about a week and haven't had any issues. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update the review. I would have done 5 stars, but the few missing buttons I prefer knocked it down the one star.

If you are a MAC user read this. This is my new set up with an extra monitor. I love the keyboard is everything they have described. All keys work great, lights are fun, it is a satisfying sound when I type (neurodivergent). BUTTTTT —- my MacBook Pro Laptop did not recognize my keyboard when plugged and it kept asking me to select a type of Keyboard. Options where: ISO, JIS or ANSI. Instructions that worked for me: i exited the prompt. There are 2 modes in this keyboard Fn+A = Mac uses and Fn+S = Windows users. So after exiting the prompt, I clicked Fn+A and let it hold for like 3 seconds until it did something with the lights. I disconnected the USB from the laptop and reconnected it again. It WORKED. The keyboard was in default Windows mode so Mac was like “hell nah”. Switch the mode. I hope this is helpful. If it breaks down in less than 3 years. You will see my review again.

These are the keys I learned to type on & gave back a huge boost to my speed and accuracy. The keys are great because they give your fingers clear and distinct boundaries. If you have longer finger nails- there's plenty of room for them to float through as you zoom. The plethora of color combinations/patterns is AWESOME! My favorite setting is water droplet, a gentle reminder with each key press that our energy and vibration is always in motion irradiating outward- In a world where you can be anything you want, I hope you choose love, compassion and understanding.. .

The packaging I received the keyboard in was obviously opened by the manufacturer for swapping the keys, and left in a pretty sorry state. Other than that, this Keyboard is just a regular version of the Aula F2088, which is twice cheaper on the manufacturer’s website. What the seller has done is hastily swapping the original rectangular keys with round ones (sold $5 separately). Upon receiving the package, if you look carefully, you will notice some keys higher than the others . While the blue switch offer a satisfactory click sound, the keyboard feels much lighter than a K series from one of Aula’s main competitors. The round keys are relatively lightweight and don’t feel really solid but the keyboard is reactive without any noticeable issue. As for the magnetic wrist rest, it is very light and feels cheaply made On the plus side, the led and lighting patterns are beautifully rendered and the dimmer wheel and function buttons are highly appreciated (whenever they work). I am now curious to see how this keyboard will stand the tests of time…
