Happy so far. I have had this down for a couple of months now and it has worked better than more expensive rugs I tried under my desk. I have hardwood floors and didn't want to damage from my constant moving of my chair. The part that sticks to the floor is not sticky. It is more of a friction based material and it has not slid around. I am constantly moving my desk chair and all and it is still in place. It has been vacuumed constantly and even mopped with the Bissell crosswave several times and is holding up. I have pets and the fur comes up easily with vacuuming. Not as soothing to the feet as a rug, but it does have a nicer texture than the clear, plastic mats that many have. I would buy this again. It does have a few creases as some others have mentioned, but this has not bothered me enough given the other positives of this product. There is a second one in our office under my husband's desk and both have been great. My biggest complaints are too few pattern options, slightly small for my needs as I would have liked a slightly larger one for "L" desk, and the few creases.

Really good rug

I bought this to cut down on noise caused by my chair rolling over laminate flooring. It has done that job well. Chairs roll on it with no problem. I didn’t bother with sticking it to the floor as I really wanted the larger 75” x 60” version. I don’t seem to be able to find this color in that size. Either because it’s not made or because I’m just not shopping at the right time. I’m tired of waiting and watching. So even though this one is too small, and in place well enough just with the weight of a desk and filing cabinet, I’m finally going stick it down. Hopefully it will still reduce the noise just as well. If it doesn’t continue to work or if it starts wearing out I will update the review.

For years I used a regular clear plastic chair mat to protect the wood floors in my office. It was functional but ugly, and got scratched up over time. Then I began using a small rug made of carpet tiles, which looked better but impeded the chair rollers quite a bit. After tiring of trying to clean the carpet I decided to try this pad. It's awesome. It sticks to the floor without being permanent, nor does it leave a residue when you reposition it. It feels good to walk on with a slight cushion and a pleasing texture. And the chair moves over it smoothly. The dogs also enjoy curling up on it for naps, so it's clearly quite comfortable. Highly recommended as an upgrade for your office space.

I bought this about a year ago after I moved to my new apartment. Where my desk is there is old hardwood floors and I wanted something there to not only protect the floors but also give some resistance so my chair didn't roll away constantly. It arrived on a very cold day and I admittedly didn't wait as long as I should have before installing it. I am happy to say that the creases in the mat did go away after a few days. Vacuuming it did help with this. The adhesive is VERY sticky and I would suggestion getting a second person to help with installation. After it is installed the mat goes nowhere. I have had it installed now for a year and I have happy to say that I have had zero issues with it coming up at all, nor with any issues with it wearing in any spots. My only complaints are I wish it was a little thicker so my chair has enough resistance that it doesn't roll by itself but still rolls easily. But all in all it is well made, cleans easily and has held up.

So, I got this thing for my garage floor, you know, for when I'm tinkering away in my workshop. It's as thin as a politician's promise. I mean, if you try rolling your wheels on it, you might as well audition for a slapstick comedy. But hey, it's so massive, my chair practically throws a housewarming party every time it sits on it. But let me tell you, this thing's got a memory like an elephant. I swear, I can still see the creases from when it was folded like a stubborn origami project. I even tried giving it a spa day with a hot iron, hoping it would smooth out like a diva's dress, but nope, it's more stubborn than my uncle Jim. Still, it's an improvement over my bare cement floor. At least now my chair stays put, and I can avoid those embarrassing moments when I roll into the sunset. Would I buy it again? Maybe. But who knows how long this flimsy miracle will hold up. It's like the garage floor version of a reality TV relationship—exciting at first, but who knows if it'll last the season?

The mat was shipped folded, and even after following the instructions, I could never get the fold marks out. After about 2 weeks of use on a tile floor, the top material became completely separated from the backing, held only in place by the edge stitching. While sitting in my office chair and wearing shoes, moving my feet shifts the top material but not the backing, causing the mat to bunch up or curl. I purposely chose the low pile material for easy rolling in the office char, so not surprised by the wear pattern after 2 weeks as in the shared picture. UPDATE - I think this is the perfect gift to give someone you don't like. After much more usage, the top material kept bunching up and getting caught in the wheels of the chair, making moving the chair difficult. The corners kept curling up making it a tripping hazard, and it became impossible to vacuum/clean. Rolling the chair on it also causes a lot of static buildup, great if you want to damage sensitive electronics. I ended up throwing it in the trash and replacing the stock plastic wheels on the office chair with quality urethane soft wheels, works so much better on the tile.
