Good accessory for a TS101
The iron tip (D24-Tip) works as expected, I use it with a TS101 for hobbyist projects and have no complains. I only used it a couple of times as the tip is a bit thick for my projects.

A little more expensive than others but works well and is good quality.
Others were slightly cheaper but this seemed like a better seller and more reliable quality and both were true. Mine was marked and packaged as a Miniware version, a know good version. I tried it and temperatures with my Pinecil seemed to jump around as it heated but quickly stabilized when it reach temperature, I had set it for 440 C to push it so maybe that was why it seemed to jump around at first since it heated up very quickly. Overall very satisfied.

High quality and BC2 tip is the one to get
Really liked this, fits into a Penecil perfectly.

Chisel point..
I purchased a soldering iron that uses these tips. The original tip is pointed and I wanted a chisel tip. This tip is perfect for my use in splicing small gauge wires.

Perfect fit for pine64 pinecil
Picked this different tip up for my pine64 unit I got. Fit was fine and tip worked as expected right away. Would have no problem grabbing more of these as needed.

Excellent iron but you will want more
This is a fantastic iron but only get this if you also have a station. (unless you're only doing lite jobs, but then if you do just lite jobs you're going to end up doing bigger jobs) For any serious soldering you will want a soldering station (preferrably a Hakko unless you want to pay exhorbitant sums) They hold temperature better, more consistently and hit actual temperature faster and more reliably. This is a great iron for making quick, easy work such as changing motors in the field or flashing esc's in bulk or any type of fast low temperature soldering. It has a firmware update that literally brings it to life with all manner of sleep options, right handed vs left handed, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. The biggest problem is that it does not hold heat and the tip is not heated to displayed temperature every time. In addition to the typical things you have to worry over with soldering irons, oxidation, cleaning, drift, etc. the TS100 is simply not made for extended use. It is made for quick work or for diligent, patient scenarios where one doesn't mind waiting for the iron to heat up

First one I got did not maintain heat. Second one did
Does not maintain heat. I apply solder to it and it drops from 300 down to 200 or less making the solder stick to the tip. I will be buying name brand from now on.Update: Turns out I had a bad tip. UY Chan contacted me and sent me a new one without too much fuss. The new one worked much better and didn't drop temp like the first one. It still didn't get hot enough to melt the solder already on a Raspberry Pi 3 but that might be due to the type of solder used rather than the tip. Tip size is small enough for 26awg wire but probably not small enough for surface mount. for those curious as to size.
