Worthwhile while

I'm not particularly impressed with this massager - either for sore muscles or for more ~personal~ massages. It's not very strong and SUPER buzzy, and the buzz isn't concentrated to the head at all. My hand was buzzing more than anything. The flexible handhold made it hard to put any pressure on it, and since it's SO weak the pressure is definitely needed. Definitely not something I plan to use much in the future.

This "massage instrument" looks cute, but that's about it. It is bigger than I thought it would be and in terms of build quality, it definitely looks like a "made in China" product. I own and regularly use a deep tissue sport massager. I was hoping this would function like a portable version. Wrong! The vibration is very weak and because of the bobble neck, you can't apply any manual pressure to assist with massaging any tight muscles. The instrument was already partially charged so I was able to test it out right away upon unboxing. It initially took a few seconds to get going at the lowest setting, but now it turns on instantaneously. A major issue I have with this product is the presence of a high pitched continuous sound, which can be heard when running at the lowest setting. I can only think of one use for this tool.....ahem...and even then, it's not very discreet. If you want a true handheld muscle/deep tissue massager, I would look elsewhere.

... been threatened via an instruction manual. TBH it's been weeks and I still can't get past the "... or bear the consequences" line in instruction #3. I don't even know what "after self removal" means or refers to so to then have it followed up with a threat is so wild to me LOL. I genuinely have so many questions and I refuse to take the massager serious until I get some answers. Despite it truly being powerful, I just don't love the overall design. It gives manufactured in a mother's basement vibes and name one time anything worth having came from such a location. While the title states this is the upgraded version, what I could gather from the other reviews is that the only upgrade was the addition of a (as in 1, not any additional/replacement caps) silicone cap to cover the foam ball head. I'm not sure how/why this is labeled as an upgrade when the cap doesn't even fit all the way around the ball head, but who am I? The micro USB charger is not at all convenient, especially for anyone heading into 2023. The middle area is collapsible and my bf tells me that's to lessen the vibration in your hands, and I mean, I guess, but it's still weird and feels funny regardless. The area with the on/off and mode buttons is very ... janky looking and doesn't compare to the "Mode/M" button on literally every other massager on the planet which controls the vibration PATTERN, not strength/intensity. It's awkwardly shaped so traveling around with it is a hard pass and to add insult to injury, it's not even remotely quiet. IMO the best thing about this massager was the chuckle the instructions gave both me and the participants in every last one of my group chats. Not for nothing but if you're looking for a funny white elephant gift this year, 10/10 recommend giving this (or just the instruction manual). It'll be a guarantee hit!
