Saved me tons of $
It's been a couple months since I got my broken dryer (whirlpool cabrio) back up and running with these parts. I'm pretty thrilled! Seems to be running like normal for a fraction of what the repair man would've charged. Glad I took the chance.

Simple fix
Easy to replace. Took longer to remove the rear cover than it did to replace the bad part.

Inexpensive fix!
Our dryer stopped heating and I traced the problem back to the thermal cut-off so I ordered this part as a replacement. For some reason the mounting screw supplied with this part wouldn’t fit the designated hole in the dryer and the original part was not installed with a screw so I had to find a suitable fastener from my parts bin to get it mounted. The good news is the dryer is working, and the repair was completed for about 10 dollars vs. what might have been a $300 service. My wife thinks I’m a genius and I’m not going to tell her differently.

I decided to try a NAPCON N197 (L221-65F) new replacement for 279816) to see if it could help by not letting it heat up as much and allowing a bit more cool down time
I received the 279816 Dryer Thermostat Kit (L250-80F) promptly. Once installed, everything was ok for a day. Then it popped again. I tried a Whirlpool 279816 OEM (L250-85F) and still had the same problem after two more days. In that there was nothing else that appeared to be contributing to the problem, I decided to try a NAPCON N197 (L221-65F) new replacement for 279816) to see if it could help by not letting it heat up as much and allowing a bit more cool down time. The NAPCON worked fine and has been going for 6 months. The dryer is over 15 years old and may not be exhausting the hot air quickly enough. Anyway, the L221-65F seems to have done the trick. The original 279816 part in the dryer was a L250-85F.

Does what it should!
The heating element on our 45 year old Inglis household dryer (110 volts) stopped working. So, I removed the back and found it had a thermostat similar to the one pictured and at $16, decided to replace it and try to get it working. At that price, there was little to lose. After the simple replacement, the old heater element worked and the old dryer was again working just like it did in 1977.

Looks like the original quality part
The delivery was fast and packaging was good so the parts won’t be damaged during transportation. The installation was very simple and so far after 2 weeks of use it’s still working. The quality of the product looks like the original part. price of kit is also better then others trying to sell one piece.

Works fine
The kits arrived on time and has everything its supposed to have. I installed the heating element fuse on my whirlpool Dryer and it is heating/drying once again. The real test is to see how long it will last. The last one I bought didn't last a whole year.

EASY FIX good value!
I supposedly only need to replace the high temp limit fuse ( it was open circuit). For basically the same price I also bought (in this kit) the operating temp limit thermostat. Often the high temp limit fuse fails because the operating temp thermostat is working intermittently or poorly. It is a good idea to replace both and takes only 2 minutes more time.
