I love balsamic and in the past I've paid as much for a bottle as a high end bottle of champagne, so I didn't really expect much from this. Bought it purely to cook with and save my good stuff for salads and dipping etc.It's actually really nice. Sweet, tart, nice depth of flavour without being acrid, it's got decent viscosity and not watery like standard vinegar. It's definitely better than just being used in cooking and for £1.50 per bottle it's an absolute bargain. If I'd bought this for £6-8 I'd still have been impressed. Perfectly suitable for dipping bread and that's a true test of a good balsamic. Amazon did well here.

Good quality balsamic not too weak and not too strong perfect for that Italian pasta with tomatoes garlic and little oil. Or even a cesar salad to give it a little yum yum. Fab product fab price I use it on most of my hot dishes lasagne kieves pasta you name it

This isn’t thick, syrupy balsamic glaze, but it is a perfectly decent balsamic vinegar, suitable for use in sauces and dressings.It’s got a sharp clean flavour - I’ve been able to use it as a substitute for both malt and cider vinegars. Good value too. Recommended.

This is not even an imitation balsamic it's just a dark vinegar good enough for chips but not for the use of real balsamic. As my late father used to say "buy cheap you buy twice"
