You need to use all the preservation powder included in the kit for 3 mL of milk.

How well does the stone stay in the setting? Does it get glued in?

You need to bend the edges of the necklace setting inwards towards the breast milk stone. The kit doesn't include glue and it's not necessary to keep the stone in place, but you can glue it if you want to.
