I don't normally do reviews about hair products, truth be told, I've never been impressed enough to take the time out of my busy life! However, I've been using this Kristin Ess Signature shampoo and conditioner for over a year now and felt I absolutely owed it to the product to share my honest thoughts.Prior to using this, my hair HAD to be washed EVERY SINGLE DAY! It would get super clumpy and oily after 24 hours and would cause my scalp to itch! My hair was also notoriously flat and thin! No body whatsoever!I am 45 years old and have used tons of hair products, from cheap, to super expensive and never in my life have I experienced results like this! I can go DAYS without washing my hair now! It never gets oily! I think the longest I've gone now without washing is about 4 days which is absolutely unheard of for me! Honestly i could probably go longer, but my psoriasis causes dandruff and after several days the flake build up requires a good washing! But, it has absolutely nothing to do with my scalp being oily! My hair has body, it smells fantastic for days! I don't think I'll ever switch to another hair care product again! So grateful to have found this!Ladies! And Gents! If you suffer from the same flat, bodiless, oily hair that I did, you truly owe it to yourselves to try this! I gift this set to family and friends for birthdays and holidays now, because I love it THAT much! 😉

I bought this product specifically because someone said it smelled exactly like the outrageous shampoo and conditioner from the 90s. They were completely wrong. If you're purchasing it for the scent, it ain't that. That said it does have a very pleasant smell and it lasts for days. If you are sensitive to fragrances or have sensitive skin you may not like this. The product moisturizes my hair so well. I have curly hair and normally have to put a lot of product to avoid frizz. This gives lightweight bouncy curls that I don't even get with very fancy salon products. BUT oddly, it causes my scalp to flake. Maybe buildup or dries out my scalp? I've tried using these products separately, they work best when you use both together.

I love this shampoo. It smells great. A little goes a very long way and that’s good because these bottles are smaller than the size bottles of suave that I usually use. The shampoo lathers up great. The conditioner still leaves tangles in my hair but they comb right out very easily. I don’t have to tug and pull. I have very oily hair and my hair is flat and gross looking about halfway through the day, but not with this. I can go through most of the day before the oily starts showing. Very good value. I will be buying more. I want to try the biotin one next.

I recently tried the Kristin Ess Hydrating Signature Sulfate-Free Salon Shampoo and Conditioner Set, and I have mixed feelings about it.On the positive side, the bottles look sleek and the packaging is attractive. The scent is pleasant, not too overpowering, and it lingers in your hair for a while after use, which I personally like. The sulfate-free formula is gentle on my hair and scalp, and I appreciate that it doesn't strip my hair of its natural oils.However, when it comes to performance, I found this set to be just okay. The shampoo lathers well, but I felt that it left my hair feeling a bit heavy and not as clean as I would have liked. The conditioner, while it has a nice texture, didn't seem to do a great job of detangling my hair, which was disappointing.In terms of hydration, I didn't notice a significant change in the overall moisture of my hair. I have naturally dry hair, and this set didn't seem to provide the deep hydration it claims. I had to use additional leave-in products to achieve the level of softness and manageability I desired.The price point is on the higher side for a drugstore brand, and I was hoping for better results given the cost. I've used other hydrating shampoos and conditioners that performed better at a similar or even lower price point.In conclusion, the Kristin Ess Hydrating Signature Sulfate-Free Salon Shampoo and Conditioner Set is decent, but it didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of hydration and overall performance. Ordered this set when I was running low and shampoo & conditioner. My daughter has used this and really liked the way it left her hair feeling, so I decided to check it out. The shampoo lathers nicely and I felt like it cleaned well with just one application (i.e., no need to do it twice before conditioning). The conditioner isn't heavy, so I was concerned about how well it would handle the inevitable tangles, but my hair was super silky after rinsing and no snarls at comb-out.For reference, I am 61 with fine but very curly hair. These products helped eliminate tangles and reduce frizz without weighing my hair down. I felt the set had a great price point as well. Will definitely order again.

Really love this shampoo and conditioner set, especially the shampoo. It's so much more affordable than other similar products and brands which i also love. It also has a nice and clean but not overpowering scent to it.The shampoo is a clarifying shampoo so it gets rid of any build-up that is in your hair from any products. It is not as harsh and over the top as other clarifying shampoos that i have tried, as other brands have dried my hair out too much. It lathers pretty well, isn't a pain to wash out either. The formula for the shampoo is Vegan and cruelty free which is also amazing!Love that it works well on coloured hair as well.The conditioner is great too, but it isn't as hydrating and I do have to use quote a bit of product to distribute it properly through my hair, as I have a lot of hair and volume in my hair. Another downside to the conditioner is that it is not Vegan, so I have found other options for a conditioner. Both are cruelty free which is great.

I love this product specifically. I tried it by pure chance for the first time in 2019. And since then have repeatedly bought/used it…!If your hair is dry, dull and frizzy, (and even if they are not) this shampoo works wonders. It worked great on my hair and it doesn’t seem like I need a change anytime soon!

Absolutely love this set. The scent is so fresh and sophisticated and my hair feels soft and manageable every time I use it. I am about a year postpartum so my hair isn't great but since adding these to my routine, I’ve noticed fewer tangles and more shine. Will be buying again!

Interesting price, very fast international delivery, but package content was extremely hot due probably to lack of air conditioning in the carrier's truck or long exposure to sun.I am really annoyed because I bought several items of the product. And maybe the product is already damaged or its lifespan is shortened now. Impossible to chat with customer service because the application is not authorised in current geographical area.Will update my review later depending on my findings…
