Aanraku Studios Twofer Grinding Bits - Ripple Bit

So far I've only used this for one project with glass that was textured on one side and it worked well, creating a smooth area for copper foil. I have an Inland WizCG grinder and it fits on the shaft without any problems, however, the wide diameter of the bit does not allow the sponge holder to fit in place. The sponge doesn't contact the inside groove of the bit anyway. You will have to manually add water to the glass as you grind.

I used this bit to put better edges on the top lip of a glass decanter on which the top lip was sharp, resulting in frequent chips . . . not something you want in your drinks! The truncated V shape was perfect. The grinding bit is a perfect fit on the 5/16 in shaft of my stained glass grinder.
