Bought this to fix to a Manfrotto mount which now gives me greater flexibility in switching lenses instead of unscrewing and re-screwing onto the original mount. It also negates the need to replace the collar foot on my 500mm.

Larger and sturdier than expected.I used this to convert my Velbon Delta tripod to take gear with Arca-Swiss type fittings.I don't trust a single 1/4 screw or the Velbon lever mechanism to take the combined weight of the Arca-Swiss clamp, lens and camera and chose this one because it has three fixings and can be securely clamped over the entire existing quick release. All I needed was a couple of 1 1/4 long 1/4 UNC bolts and a strip of steel to go underneath.

This is a very high quality quick release plate for mounting a camera to a tripod. It can also be used to mount other devices becasue it has both a 1/4" thread and two 3/8" threads. The plate can also be mounted on a variety of tripods, having both 1/4" and 3/8" threaded sockets. The large thumbscrew allows very quick release of your camera from teh tripod. It also allows you to adjust the position of your camera along the plate up to 40mm in either direction. The whole construction is metal and thus extremely durable. The only thing that is less than perfect is the bubble level, which seems to lack purpose - two lonzenge-shaped bubble levels perpendicular to each other would have been more useful.

All parts are well machined. I use as mount for an autocue and it is very sturdy.

After a lot of research , the clamp converted a Benro s6 fluid tripod head into a swiss arca clamp for my trusty heavy Tamron 150-600mm g2 securely . You will need some extra screws , not included in purchase ,available on Amazon .

The media could not be loaded.  Like most Neewer items this is a reasonably priced decent quality item that does the job well.It’s a nice solid weight and my camera feels safe and secure when attached to it.It allows you to move your camera either side to side or back and forth without moving your tripod.It also fits nicely in the base of my camera and doesn’t look out of place if I leave it on between tripod uses.Overall I’m really impressed with this release plate and would definitely recommend it.

I am delighted with this NEEWER Quick Release Plate with Clamp Adapter Set. The QR plate was packed in a small cardboard box with the NEEWER branding on the top. Each of the items were also contained in resealable bags to prevent the items getting scratched in transit. The build quality and finish are great, just as I have come to expect with NEEWER products. The plate itself comes supplied with the standard camera tripod attachment screw and two larger ones either side which are easily removed as required. A small flat steel tool is provided to enable operation and removal of the screws. It can be used by attaching it to a ball or fluid head of a tripod or as part of a full camera rig for video. The QR plate itself fits very snuggly onto the bottom my camera grips and once secured and tightened onto the mounting block there is no camera creep. The rubber pads work well in protecting the any equipment which is attached to the plate. The release knob has a knurled surface to provide a good grip when operating the the knob and a bubble level to allow the user to check that a camera is level. By slackening the release knob it is easy to be able to slide the plate with camera attached to the desired orientation.This is in my opinion a versatile and very well made Quick release adaptor kit which is nicely finished and should last for years. For the current price of £22.99 I think it is a reasonably priced piece of kit which I have used a number of times with absolutely no complaint. Recommended.

This is a solid heavy-duty plate that can be used in a number of configurations. The larger screws will need to be removed when attaching to a camera with a standard thread using the centre screw. The section that attaches to the camera is clamped in place on the base by a sliding rail controlled by a long screw with a bubble level set in its knurled head. There is no danger of looseness once the screw is tightened, because the dovetails clamp the rail tightly and securely. The ends are open, allowing the sliding plate to traverse 40mm sideways or back and forth depending on the orientation. Two grub screws provide stops for the plate. The bubble-level will only work when it is facing up, so it could be used with the camera facing down for copying, for example, or in portrait orientation.

Mounted on a tripod for various applications. Mounted several different optics (would work with cameras too) and ARCA rails on things like an MDT chassis.

I needed this adapter for another Bogen head and it holds firmly to the Manfrotto QR plate. The clamp holds all my Arca-Swiss pattern brackets just fine, even with a 400mm lens.

... die Qualität ist auch dementsprechend. Die Arretierung ist für meinen Geschmack zu locker, der Kompass ohne Funktion. Ware ging zurück, werde lieber was von "mehr" Qualität kaufen.
