CHEATING SPOUSES FIND OUT THAT DIVORCE CAN LEAD TO HAPPINESS
LOVEHOLIC the movieThis is a review for the movie and not the drama series of the same name. That is excellent also though.SOME SEXUAL SCENES AND NUDITYSTORYLINEThis is the story about what happens to a married couple when the wife's best friend looses her place to live and moves into her house. Her friend likes to dress in clothing that shows a lot of her body around the house. The wife on the other hand, meets a attractive man who is her climbing instructor. He seems to pay a little to much attention to adjusting her safety gear compared to the others in the class. This married couple have been doing fertility testing and treatments at the hospital that the husband works at. She shows up at the hospital for X-rays as she hurt herself in class, only to encounter the climbing instructor. The instructor is a doctor of some sort to, but also does X-rays. You can tell that his positioning her for X-rays seems to be making her uncomfortable and she leaves afterward. The husband invites him home and he eyes the wife. He claims that he just moved in the area and they should go to work together. He gives the wife a gift the next morning, the husband asks why and he says it's a thank you gift. The wife opens it to find this mans phone number and sexy undergarments. I wish the text message was translated, I wonder what it said. She meets up with him and their interaction turns sexual. The husband has now started to fool around with the friend in his own house and sleeps with her also. Both of them have affairs. Yes, there is some nudity in this but not more than a couple sexual encounters for each spouse. It's not really that important to me. The couple and their partners now meet up for an outing. It's awkward as they pose for a picture. The couple do get divorced. But I think that this movie shows that the couple were better off being divorced than married.I hope that this helps you decide. If you are looking for a movie with alot of sex or more explicit scenes, then this movie is not for you. I write reviews for dramas and CDs from Korea, Taiwan, China and Japan. THERE'S A DRAMA FOR THAT

GOOD SHOW!
This is a good movie; I'm surprised the rating wasn't better. I bought this movie for Heung Soo Kim (this guy is so underrated as an actor), but I ended up enjoying the movie better than I expected. The dvd plays great,by the way. I would highly recommend this movie.

Cast your stones at everyone here! Just try not to get upset!
Let the stones fly! This movie started up slow (like a turtle race) but all the relationships and lives had to be explained. The wife made some very important decisions and I *think* she made the right ones. (Some of my friends disagree and likens it to "letting a screwed-up fox into the hen house!) Poor judge of character. She should have said "Too bad, so sad..."The young friend has drinking problems (drinks *way* too much) and too many anger issues. She needs to get her s**t together (which she kinda does by the end)...In the beginning, my friends observed she needed a real good paddling...Her parents massively f***ed up here...Makes you want to get behind the growing movement to require licensing to reproduce! The husband did everything right (except for getting involved with the young, little wench) and got massively SCREWED in the end. I hope the "one-hand romance plan" works out for him...The wife started this eventual train wreck and the finger of BLAME is pointed squarely at her. Why she got involved with that radiology little s**t is anyone's guess. Was she really that deprived and hard up? Really? The lesson here is if things are not perfect and you have a dude on the side, you are ENTITLED to a divorce. Great lesson, folks. You need to be in front of the TV and pay attention to the dialog during the scenes at the batting cages...I thought the wife was aesthetically-stronger than the young friend but the passionate debate continues to rage on among my friends...(both genders)...Try not to assign blame here as you'll just end up getting massively pissed-off!Enjoy and keep an open mind. Try NOT to judge...(everyone here is guilty as sin)...

Psychological drama worth seeing
This is the first non-melodramatic Korean movie I've ever seen. Apart from some of the typical cultural features in Korean films (the heavy drinking of soju; the zesty slapping of people below you socially; the obvious relish of eating), most of the events could have happened in a Western film, too. What set this film apart for me was the tone in which it was told, very deliberately, carefully, hesitantly -- which mirrored the feelings of the married couple at the core of this drama. Most of the translations were very good, but the text messages should have been translated as well. I liked the intentional filmic gaps where the viewer had to fill in his or her own feelings, such as when the wife sleeps on the couch.

Great Movie
The story line is fantastic, the person that appears to be the betrayer is actually the supportive one.

Distressing Content
I found this movie so upsetting, I turned it off very early on and searched for options for a refund for the rental. I didn't even get to any romantic entanglements- it was the setup for the main plot that did it. The female protagonist is out drinking with her friend after her entire editorial team are fired from the publishing house she worked for (her friend suggests the solution is find someone quickly and get married), and they're all drinking heavily... a man nearby causes a fight, threatening and physically roughing HER up, she retaliates and though he's let off scott-free because he's male, she gets jailed and a $40,000 fine and losing her home; stuck in a zero privacy cell with only a male guard... and she's pegged as the "bad guy".Patriarchal sexist hell.
