It seems to be strong and protective. The IPad sits inside a plastic case that snaps around it. Then a fitted rubber cover envelopes it. The screen is open but, I have put the glass by Zagg over it. I bout a pimular one for my 5 year old two christmases two years ago when he was 3. We have had some temper tantrums and drops and I have had no issues with it’s protective ability. I think this is a very good product and it will protect your device with reasonable drops and accidents. I do t think it would hold up if you dropped it out of a car but n the highway or ran over it. It may but I doubt it. My device is a iPad six generation .

I love this thing. I've already dropped my iPad since buying it, and it protected it wonderfully. My one and only complaint is that the (locking) kickstand is positioned in such a way that the iPad tilts back a little too far when I'm trying to watch something, unless I'm standing above it. But, the material doesn't slip on hard surfaces, so I can always prop it against something else.

I originally bought $60 case from Best Buy, but it turned out to be heavy and bulky. I was not intending to skateboard on the interstate with the new IPod in the backpack. Returned that one. Second case I bought on Amazon for $10 and it turned out to be cheap and fit poorly. This one is strong enough to withstand average and looks pretty good in red.

Too cheap. Case never stayed “locked” in place. iPad kept popping out.

I was not paid nor received a discount for this review. I purchased this cover for my son after upgrade his ipad. I liked the old one similiar to this for an older gen ipad and it last years! Glad I made this purchase, he's happy and I know the investment is safe. It has an Iron Man red look to it...he was stoked!

The case looks nice and really protects the iPad. The only thing that was a little challenging is that I wanted a screen scratch protector as well, and the fit was very tight, not 100% with the screen protector sticker and the case.

Solid case. My iPad feels protected, and it adds just enough bulk so I don't feel like I'm going to snap it in half whenever it is in my hands. I use my iPad as part of a display, and I often have strangers using it. This makes me know it will be safe from falls, and I am confident I would notice it if someone tried to run off it with it. My only complaint is that the kickstand is almost impossible to deploy. I often have to use my keys to get it out. This is really just a minor inconvenience.

This is a terrific care to protect my iPad that I use for my business. I’ve dropped it by accident a couple of times and it didn’t make a dent! Now that kick stand thing on the back- don’t bother, it won’t stay up so don’t buy it for that aspect. That’s why I’ve given it a 4. It’s quite sturdy and I’m really happy with it!
