Only works on SMALL Rolls of Wrapping paper. NOT the Costco sized ones. Cannot expand. I would return, except I did not try and use it until the return period expired. The others are gifts.

Cuts but snags
I’ve wanted one of these for awhile and unless you have the paper extremely taut it will rip the paper as it gets snagged. I’m sure with some practice I’ll get it to work better

Adequate
When this thing works properly, it’s fantastic, but sometimes it just bunches up, rips, and tears. Even when it’s cutting, it’s not always straight somehow, and I’m good at things like this.I still think it’s a great idea and worth purchasing. There’s just an unexpected learning curve for something that looks this simple.

If its not new wrapping paper dont even bother
I love that it came with replacement blade and tool to change out blades. If your wrapping paper is new with no bends or folds in roll this is perfect But if your roll has any creases or bends it does NOT work

Hard to cut paper, not as easy as I thought it would- should be. Bought 1 for my mother also she loves hers.
