PERFECT!!
I use this for (3) electronic drum sets. It allows me to pipe my toms and cymbals to either the left or right speakers (or both) which is really what makes a set of drums sound good. Zero problem with noise although I was kinda worried about that, especially having to use unbalanced cables. One of the problems with using compact equipment like this is that if it's DC powered, you're simply not going to be able to ground anything; hence being stuck with TS cables as opposed to TRS. For those having problems with noise I suggest keeping all your cables to and out of this thing as short as possible, not to mention the best insulated you can find. Another suggestion is to make sure all your sources going in to this mixer are set at about 80% of their volume output. (Not to mention to make sure each of these sources are producing clean, non-distorted signals in the first place.) Also, read the very simple instructions; the clip lights are set about 3db below the actual distortion clip signal making this very useful for all your gain settings. If after all this you're still experiencing noise I suggest using a mixer that offers balanced cabling. (XLR, TRS, NuTrik, ect...)

Make sure you're using line level inputs
I have this connected to eight Motorola 2 way radios. Instead of paying (in space and cost) for eight speakers I got this and only need two speakers. I could have had one speaker, but with two I can hear Police audio on the left and Fire on the right.I had terrible audio with pops and crackling when I first connected it up. There was also humming in the background non stop. I changed over from using the included power supply to a 9v battery and that fixed the humming, but the audio was still terrible.I then looked online and found line level outputs on my radios, switched over the speaker connector (DB25 connector underneath) to use a different set of pins and it solved the poor audio. I thought I'd also give the power adapter another shot and that no longer hums when using the line level input...Radios are nowhere near as loud as they would be connected straight to the same speakers, which is annoying. It's still usable, in my environment which has no other noise - in a vehicle or somewhere with other things going on, forget about it.Build quality is fine, pots are pretty smooth - my only complaint is audio output levels, but maybe that will change once I've reconnected the radios after the line level change over.

Wish I knew better
I have used this for three years to mix audio from a PC and a game console. It was the first mixer I had ever used so I had no idea what to expect from it. Although it technically works, it destroys the audio quality. It sounds like it's coming through a hollow tube, the bass is nonexistent, and there's tons of electrical noise in the background. I can actually hear my mouse cursor moving across the screen in the form of a high pitched whine. The knobs are also very annoying; 12 o'clock on a left channel is not the same volume as 12 o'clock on the right channel, so you have to adjust each side by ear which could have been avoided if they were better calibrated.Just recently I bought a Rolls MX51s and it has none of these problems. I can't tell the difference between having my headphones plugged into the mixer or into the source, so I can just leave them in the mixer permanently. This saves me the trouble of having to switch outputs all time, since the Nady wasn't good enough for listening to music. If I had known at the time that these mixers didn't have to alter the alter the audio quality significantly in order to work, I would have returned this one, which is borderline defective in comparison to the audio you get out of the Rolls. 2 stars only because it's durable and quite cheap.

Easy, affordable channel/track extension
Very affordable sub mixer. Can use it to send two mono tracks to two channels or four stereo tracks to four channels. Simple controls, no frills. If all you need it to fit more sources into fewer channels and don't want to spend a whole lot, this is a fantastic solution. I ran out of channels on my main mixer, so I'm sending cymbals/overheads to one channel together and toms to one channel together. Now everything's running back to the live mix and I still have individual volume control of each instrument/mic.

Not bad at all
It works. I'm not asking $500 for this small mixer. So, this mixer ($30 - $40) is very functional and is enough for me what I'm doing (changing guitar pedals, CD, etc.). I'm not complaining; there's no issue; everything works.

Great product for budget producers.
This is perfect for what I needed. I have a mini amateur recording studio set up and wanted a way to route all of my hardware into my interface without constantly unplugging cables - this fit the bill so well. Works great right out of the box with my KORG volca series and my Teenage Engineering PO and OP1. Very quiet and super rad. Would recommend to anyone in a similar situation.
