Q: Is there one that is wider?

Q: can you use with a walker

It is very sturdy. I am not sure it is wide enough to put the walker on it. see if the walker legs are less than 17.5 inches. I use it to give that extra height to get into tall bed.

Q: Product pics show top has flat, kinda wavy rectangular little slits, but reviewers' pics show little polka dot bumps. Has it been upgraded?

I'm not sure as I purchased this last summer, but I seem to remember it had a polka dot top. I waited to long to try it out as we were going to use it camping with our trailer. When we did try it, my husband step on it dead center and it promptly split in two, rendering it unusable. We had to toss it as it was after the return period. BTW, my husband is well below the weight limit and did not jump on it. He simply stepped down out of the trailer using our regular trailer steps. We had added the Mobility Step as a little extra lift as we found the last step out of the trailer a little high above the ground. We were very disappointed. In other words, do not buy this product. My husband now has a homemade wooden step.

Q: How does the mat attach?

I never noticed any kind of attachment area. I just use it next to my bed, on carpet.
