This is the best monitor for a 1080P IPS 24inch 180z 1ms HDR display monitor and the brightness is amazing in dark areas and the price was nice for me once again therefore the functionality like shadow boost, game visual ,low blue light , VRR Technology Gameplus , HDCP support , Trace free technology etc anyway not complaint at all

The product arrived fast, and works as expected. Although I thought it would come with a HDMI cable not only with the DP cable. And for some reason none of my earphones fit properly to the earphone jack input. Aside of that I recommend it.

The ASUS ROG Strix XG256Q is an excellent gaming monitor that delivers smooth performance, sharp visuals, and great overall value for competitive players. From the moment you turn it on, the difference in fluidity is noticeable thanks to its high refresh rate and fast response time. One of its biggest strengths is the 180Hz refresh rate combined with a 1ms response time, which makes gameplay incredibly smooth and responsive—perfect for FPS and fast-paced games. The Fast IPS panel also provides vibrant colors and wide viewing angles, so you get both speed and visual quality in one display.

Using this as the main monitor for my G14 Zephyrus 4060 laptop and it is preem. The high nits create bright brights, and the display shadow controls create dark darks where they're needed. Sure it's no OLED, but for $200 it's the best 1080p gaming monitor I've found. Colors are on point, refresh rate is relatively high (I use it at 165hz, which is enough for my 4060m w/FG. Best of all, it's G-Sync compatible - so no screen tearing. If you're looking for a low cost 1080p monitor and you're not running a rig that will get over 180 FPS, this is a great option.

Very good quality monitor. Great to use as my primary monitor with my ASUS G703 GXR ROG gaming laptop i9-9980HK and Nvidia Geforce 2080 RTX graphics card. I have my laptop screen as my dual monitor with no issues or drop in performance in all my games on ultra settings. Great sturdy monitor stand with easy assembly. Will consider buying another for the sale price of $194.99 ($289.99) for the 24.5" monitor.

Not too expensive considering they’re IPS monitors and they look great. Colors are beautiful and really enlightens my setup I feel. Most monitors are just dull and hz focused but nobody really needs more than 144 realistically. Other than that little rant, I love the monitors. If you plan on mounting them, go on Facebook marketplace and see if someone is selling monitor mounts. I wish I had done that instead of dropping $100 on these when I could’ve got them from someone used for $15 lol.

I had two of these prior to the purchase. I just needed an extra one for my triple monitor setup. Would recommend for the money.

When this monitor is on its own, it's a solid high-refresh rate 1080p panel with great adjustability provided by the stand. Only problem is when using multiple displays on DisplayPort (sometimes HDMI as well), the monitor will not properly go to sleep, making the monitor disconnect and reconnect several times. This messes up where your windows are positioned and can reorganize your desktop. Only way to leave my computer on without having these issues was to set a black screensaver and disable sleeping. Overall, a hassle to make work even if the pure gaming performance is solid.
