10-32 versus 10-24 thread
A quick word of caution regarding Futures fin screws. These replacement screws are 10-24 thread 1/2”. However the Futures fin boxes in two of my 2005-2008 era surfboards are 10-32 thread 1/2”.I’m assuming they switched at some point for compatibility with FCS which is 10-24 thread. The official Futures-branded replacement screws at my local surf shop are also currently 10-24. But if you have an older board, double check the original screw threading so you don’t strip the fin boxes!Thread discussion aside, these seem like perfectly nice replacement screws if you need 10-24.
