X-Ray Lead Markers L and R Without Initials Leaded Pb Identifiers for X-Rays with Aluminum Backs

I got these for an unconventional reason - to make them into unique earrings. I'm big on oddities and interesting things and when I saw these, I knew they would be excellent for jewelry.They arrived safely in a ziplock baggie. The colors are bold and they look exactly like the photos. They are lightweight which is great for my purpose. The edges are a little sharp on the set I received, but I was able to sand them down smoothly.Turning these into pendants or earrings would make an excellent gift for an x-ray tech or an oddity enthusiast. I'm pleased with the quality and feel of what I received. They're really basic, but that makes them recognizable.

These X-Ray markers are very small and light enough to carry in your scrubs and not notice. My Right marker did arrive bent, so it makes it a little hard to lay flat on my table. The coloring is bright and vibrant on both. I was unaware that aluminum was radiolucent but makes for a very tough and rugged design so I am sure that these markers will last indefinitely.

S an x-ray technologist, I can not say how many markers I have lost. These are nice to have on hand as my clinic doesn't have any "generic" physical markers like these for use, yet require physical markers to be on the images and not digitally placed. They showed up great on my images at work and just as any other x-ray markers do. I wish I could have placed my initials on the pair used for review, but at the end of the day, these worked wonderfully.

Light weight, easily carried on lanyard so you have your own and do not have to hunt other sets down. Show up clearly in x-rays, even our doctor commented on how great they showed up. The only complaint I had was one of them had been overfilled with resin(?) so they didn't look the same. But I would definitely pick again.

I got these as basic back ups for the department. With no initials on them it allows everyone to use these if they need to. I just keep them with the portable machine. There is nothing fancy about them. They are good quality but a bit pricey for what they are.
