Perfect for adding additional PoE devices after the initial project is done.
My IT company provides services like setting up WIFI access points, VoIP phones, Surveillance cameras. And it's not uncommon after the initial project is complete, with all the lines already run, that the client will decide they need another PoE device added. So before I discovered this product, the only options were run another line back to the network cabinet, or maybe buy another PoE switch which are expensive and require an outlet (which also adds another device that may need to be manually power cycled at some point). This little guy is perfect, it's small, inexpensive, and does the job perfectly. And because the switch itself is powered by PoE, I can hide it anywhere in the ceiling, knowing that any time the main switch is rebooted for any reason, this one will reboot as well.

Great way to split a POE camera drop to add another camera. Worked perfectly.
I have a POE drop in the rear of our home. The drop had an LA View POE camera on it (gigabit, 10W power use), located about 40 feet away from the POE switch that I needed to expand by adding another camera to.This little box was a godsend... first... the construction is PERFECT for my outside mounting point: I began by mounting the shell (its like a cartridge casing) under an awning. Next, I mounted all the cables I needed on the actual hub board, and slid the hub into its casing, where it clicked into place. The cartridge is not water proof, but more water resistant since its not sealed. For my case though, this is fine... since its upside down (like a bat house) and in a shielded area, I don't expect precipitation to flow up into it.Next, I fired up the LA View camera on it first (10W), then a Reolink Duo 2 (~14W). Both cameras started without incident.Unfortunately I can't verify that the hub is truly transfer at gigabit speeds, but I tried file transfers in and out of the cameras and the hub did not impact performance on my gigabit network (the cameras were the bottleneck). I also compared the Duo 2's throughput to another thats sitting directly on my gigabit switch, and observed no difference in performance. Furthermore, the duo and the LA view are both running at 20FPS at max resolution on each without choking up so I'm assuming its fully clamped at 1gbps and functioning at the advertised speed.Last note: the price. its very very nicely priced.Summary: its a safe buy and worked very well in my setup.

PoE Switch
Muy práctico ya que resuelve el detalle de llevar energía hasta un punto donde ya tienes un cable de red y necesitas conectar 2 o 3 dispositivos PoE, cabe perfecto en una caja 2x4 y queda oculto
