It’s a finish tip
Great for spraying thinner material in smaller places. Minimal overspray when setting the pump accordingly.

Amazing tip for cabinets, trim, doors, and jams
Used it for cabinets, trim, jams, and doors... factory finish! Was shooting between 1200psi to 1300psi and extremely happy with the finish. The fan is closer to 4" even though it starts with a 1 (2" fan). Wish I had skipped graco recommendations for the 214 and 312. Used it in a graco 695.

312 sprays doors and cabinets with BM Advance much better. Not sure I will ever use this again since I only spray latex with my airless system
