Update: love the respirator, got it for fine wood dust and it's great, but that was 1 month ago and the price has risen by at least $38, assuming due to Covid-19. I have gotten it to seat a bit better thanks to the many adjustment options which are great. Huge head people will struggle though and 3m says if that's the case you just have to get a forced air respirator. I have found that I use it a lot more than is strictly necessary which I think is an indicator of how good it is. Original: The seals are large and soft and very comfortable. The airflow keeps the area around your eyes cool and the exhaled air is down and there was no fogging. No issues at all with restricting vision. Like others said I wish I didn't waste money on two other masks and two different goggles, this full face seals so much better and is infinitely more comfortable. The others are now in a box and will probably only be used by friends and family if we're working together. Only issue is the L isn't quite big enough for people with big heads. I'm 6'4" 205 lbs but have a large head and while it seals ok it feels just a bit small and I wish they had an XL. Still, unless you have a truly gigantic head this will work and be the best option if you need a respirator and sealed eye protection.

This 3M Resperator is as near perfect as you can buy. - 100% clean air. I have used other masks where some tiny gap allows contaminated air to sneak in. The fit is near perfect with all air you are breathing going through the cartridge filter. - Absolutly no fogging. It is an integrated solution and it works amazing. - Very comfortable. The strap setup is great spreading out the pressure over your whole head. I won’t go so far as to say I forgot I was wearing a mask but it was all day comfortable. Skip the old school mask and just upgrade to this. Also for whatever reason mine was missing the free trial mask film protector

I work in Fire Restoration so a lot of the time I wore a half-face respirator. It would be hard to breathe, fog up my glasses and difficult to talk to others. This mask has made a huge difference. I have a big head, ordered the large and this easily fit with room to spare. I am able to wear my eyeglasses with the mask on, can talk to others, breath easier and the best thing is it never fogs up. Doesn't matter how hot I get, never has fogged up on me. It also comes with a carrying bag to store. Great Respirator.

I wear contact lenses. Contact lenses and dust don't mix. Even without them, renovations, dust and I don't mix in large quantities, I pay for it down the track. Having filled a standard P2 mask and taken a lungful of gypsum after cutting a large older sheet when renovating, I decided enough was enough, as I had more to cut. I invested in this mask and I would thoroughly recommend it. For starters I had to get up in an old roof, and blower vac out the dust. I could work like I was in an office job, with bits of dust, rubbish from the underside of the tiles falling directly on my face mask, no problems at all, whilst maintaining wearing my contact lenses without any problem. And its so comfortable compared to other masks I have worn, it really is. And it sure beats having safety glasses fog up so you then injure some other part of your body. The only time I had any fog was after giving it a clean with water and cloth down the track and non drying it properly otherwise it was very dry, as there are TWO seals. One around ones mouth and one around the face. One day I walked in and my wife was cooking something and was talking about it - she said can't you smell it? I said no, and I could not. When I took off the mask, only then could I smell the aromatic food she was cooking - so the filtration is really 'that good' - very impressive. If you are renovating, sanding, wear contact lenses or cutting concrete or granite, and you value your lungs, heart, eyesight or not cutting your finger off with the angle grinder as your safety glasses fog up during the cut, or being able to do the job safely, you need one of these in my opinion. Also I found the storage bag to be useful as well. This product is one of the best I have bought in ages, and originally I was worried about spending so much on a mask, but it paid for itself on the first day. Well done 3m, you did a great job with this one, and the filters I used on it 3M Multi Gas Vapor Cartridge, Filter 60926, P100.

If you are a healthcare professional looking for a cost efficient, comfortable, and give you the best peace of mind while providing patient care during this pandemic, look no further. Half face mask respirators are great but if you are dealing with projectile transmission, this is your go-to. I have been wearing this mask an average of 48-60 hours a week for the last two months. Allow some time for proper fit and adjustment for comfort before wearing for work to maximize the effectiveness of this mask.

Bought this for work. It does the job you need it for. Not much else to say

This is a great fitting mask that is also comfortable to wear for hours at a time. With the proper filters it will completely eliminate dust and fumes. I like the fact the fact that is actually has 2 seals. One for the face mask and another for breathing. My old mask would sometimes leak and allow me to inhale dust and chemical fumes. One time I inhaled such a large amount of chemical fumes that I got very dizzy and my head stared to spin. Then I started expeiencing tunnel vision and began to slip into darkness. I could hear voices urging me to "come toward the light". I realized that these were the voices of ghosts and remember thinking "who you gonna call?". So I quickly put on into my ruby slippers and clicked my heels together 3 time and said "there's no place like home" and I could hear myself calling for my Auntie Em. All in all a very close call. This new mask has completely eliminated those risks and would probably even offer protection from flying monkeys.

Update don't get the FF-400-15 lens protectors. They're cheaper but your lens will get ruined a lot sooner. Stick with the FF-400-17 that comes with the mask. A pack of 5 costs about 36 bucks but it's worth it. After struggling with half masks and glasses for years I finally got fed up and bought a full face respirator. Safety glasses just don't fit right on top of a half mask, I was getting stuff in my eyes constantly and my glasses would fog up if I adjusted the mask to let the glasses fit better. It was always a choice between your eyes or your lungs. I wear this mask 11 hours a day and it's the best thing I've ever used. My only complaint is that it he gets sweaty inside when it's hot out but that's true of any mask. This mask is comfortable and nothing gets in my eyes, and it has never fogged up. It's a very worth while investment. One small complaint, the product description says there is some sort of diaphragm that lets people hear and understand what you say. No one, absolutely nobody can hear or understand me.
