I got this for Christmas and I really like it. I wasn't sure that I'd like the look on my wrist but I've fallen in love with it. So pretty! I've been charging it about once a week with as much as I exercise. If you're less active, you can probably charge it less often. I did choose a watch face that shows the time digitally because I have a difficult time reading the time in the dark. The light just isn't enough to really show where the hands are and it doesn't stay on for very long. I was hoping that it would connect to my Supernatural exercise app but I haven't had success there yet. Even so, I feel that it does a good job of keeping track of my heart rate. You can't read long texts, etc on the face but there's enough to tell you if you should grab your phone or not. I feel connected without being chained to technology. I do have a difficult time with the sleep portion on the app as it isn't very user friendly but that's really the only complaint that I have.

Love the look, actually love everything about the watch...except for the fact it's giving me Hungary's weather..when I'm in Kenya!! Slightly annoying, but suspect that may be a phone error...still figuring it out. The other error and again suspect it may ne the age of my phone is I don't have the ability to enable the watch to read notifications. However, as I've said these may be more a phone issue and I'm still loving my watch!!

I like everything about it. It has a super long battery life, it takes away that constant obsession of looking at numbers that aren’t valid like I did with my fit it. The active calories and daily calorie counts are valid. I can tell by my weight loss. I do not know how to explain it, but this is so much better than my Fitbit and I’m really glad that I decided to finally get one. I’ve been wanting one for a long time. I did not expect such a difference in my progress because it is the only thing I’ve changed, all the data is there. I can look at it anytime I want to. I can even toggle through it on my phone or my watch. It is just nice to not constantly have it glowing in my face and on my mind I highly recommend giving it a try and seeing what happens. 🙂

i wanted to love this watch. i had it for only a week and it completely died. i returned it and replaced it with another of the same watch. i had the new one for only two weeks and it also completely died. not the battery, it was at a 70% charge this morning when i checked it. by 11:21am it was dead. would not accept a charge, just like the first one. i was mostly happy with it while it was working. i got the watch so i wouldn't have to keep looking at my phone to see the time and to get notifications of calls and texts. it worked well for this unless i was too far from my phone and then it would disconnect. i mean, if i didn't take my phone to the bathroom, it would disconnect. i had to always manually connect it as it wouldn't automatically connect when i got back into Bluetooth proximity. fossil sent an email detailing a fix, but it didn't fix it. manual connection was annoying but not impossible. too bad, pretty watch, nice size and weight but both were duds. not trying again. will look for another brand.

I wanted a smart watch for the convenience of a connection when I want it and a regular watch when I don’t. I rely on being notified of calls and texts during the day but it still has the sophistication look of a fossil hand watch. I’ve had this watch for months and it still works great. The battery lasts weeks and it’s perfect for my needs

Pros: Analog face, customize face, metal band, find my phone, battery lifeCons: Disconnects ALL THE TIME, reconnect doesn't always work, unable to edit sleep timesI wanted the hybrid so I could have a semi-normal watch. I wanted a step counter without all the other stuff & I wanted to read a watch without a screen.I have had this watch for 3.5 months & I cannot STAND how often my watch disconnects from my phone. It takes forever to reconnect some days or multiple tries. It's ridiculous. I can be in my bathroom (attached to my room) & it'll disconnect or if I put my phone on the counter in the kitchen & will disconnect while I'm in the kitchen.I'm about to toss this aside & buy a Garmin or FitBit so I don't have to keep reconnecting my phone to my watch.I wish this was better.

I'm sad and don't understand why the hybrid screen is lumpy. Like the screen is dented and it effects the appearance and visibility of the messages that I receive and from my notifications. It also catches the light and cheapens the appearance of my NEW FOSSIL WATCH!!!!! The watch would be beautiful if not for this clearly lemon watch 😞

The screen froze on the first day... Nothing I could find online was able to solve it.The app, despite being the official Fossil app for a watch you paid hundreds of dollars for, shows Ads. Hard to believe a product manager made that decision, I know.The app also doesn't allow viewing your heart rate live during a workout, only after you're done.Pretty watch though, and I like the customizable e-ink screen.Too bad there aren't many options for men with small wrists - this is the least feminine of their small smartwatches that I could find.

I dont like the lack of instructions. The online ones are hard to follow.
