VinWave Mini 1/4" Thick Vinyl PVC Wet Area Anti-Slip Drainage Mat. for Indoor/Outdoor Usage But Must Not Be Exposed to Direct Sunlight

Due to my Trimalleolar fracture and the resulting 4 surgeries, I knew I would have to be extra careful in the shower. We have a large European style shower built in 1987. The floor is made of small tiles and gets quite slick. I went in search of a shower mat while having nothing better to do during the healing process.Most of the mats had fatal flaws: usually suckers that would not adhere to the tiny tiles. The most common flaw was simply the size, as our custom shower did not match any traditional dimensions.I did find one solid mat that I purchased in two sizes and arranged in the shower as best as possible. One of them functioned well and stayed secure. Hubby had to cut a hole in the other one to account for drain placement. But it was prone to hydroplaning and thus seemed more dangerous than not having a mat at all. And it attracted mold which had to be bleached every few weeks.So my search continued.This mat ended up being the perfect solution. Hubby cut it to the correct length and the other dimension already fit perfectly. Water drains right through it and it has not budged. The first few weeks it felt a bit rough on the feet, but it has softened just enough that it is still sturdy but not annoying. We have been using it for 6 months now and are more than satisfied. It is nice to feel safe in the shower!

We have been looking for non slip mats for quite a while for our pool patio area, and after reading reviews for many products, decided on these. We are very happy with these mats. They are sturdy & lie completely flat without sliding, and water drains through. We ordered two 3x8s and this covers quite a bit of area where the grandkids congregate, where we have been fearful they would slip.We may order one more for more coverage.I can definitely recommend!

We had a very slippery bathroom tile floor and used this to create a non-slip surface. Looks and feels fine and works well.

How do you get rid of the stickiness after one year of use? It is pretty much unusable now and the color changes as well. Looks bad and feels bad to the touch.

It was easy to trim to size. I had the tube one from this company and I like the wave mini better in my shower. Drains better and more comfortable on the feet.

These are well made as the color is beautiful near my pool deck.

Ordered a small runner to see how it would hold up to/help our dogs from slipping on the pool deck and it worked just fine. We will order a full perimeter runner before the start of next year's pool season.

The mat is great but I ordered one mat in April and one mat in June, both stated to be TAN but they were very different colors upon arrival. If you are going to put multiple mats around a pool or any area at your home you should order them at the same time in order to get the same die lot apparently.
