No more boring filament colours!
I had saved this selection box of filaments in my Amazon WishList and finally decided to buy them to test out, as I want to create a few children's toys. These 4 filaments - Bronze, Wood, Marble-like and Shining Gold arrive individually vacuum sealed and packed in a small box. These are then packed in a larger outer box, so no chance of them arriving damaged! The spools are smaller, 200 grams each, but should fit on a regular holder - no issues using my stock Prusa i3 MK3.I was concerned that the particles in the filament would damage the brass nozzle, but after over 24 hours of total print time I can't detect any problems. I noticed in the Q&As that AMOLEN say this is fine with a normal nozzle and no need for hardened steel. The filaments loaded fine for me, and apart from the shining gold, all had very good bed adhesion. The shining gold lifted a little bit, but that may have been me not cleaning the print bed thoroughly enough with alcohol before hand.I chose a selection of models for my review prints, all taken from Thingiverse:Bronze print: Aztec Gold Drink Coaster by nexnox- thing:2506017Printed at 0.3mm layer heightWood: Wooden Rope Barrel for Gloomhaven by RobagoN - thing:2950487Printed at 0.1mm layer heightMarble print: Marble portrait of the emperor Antoninus Pius by bdipaolo - thing:239441Printed at 0.1mm layer heightShining Gold: Flexi-Dragon by Benchy4Life - thing:3505423Printed at 0.2mm layer heightI am most impressed with the marble print - it did take nearly 5 hours due to the layer height, but the print quality is amazing. This selection box is more expensive to buy per gram, but it lets you try out 4 filaments without having to buy a 1KG roll of each. I would certainly buy the wood, bronze and marble again. The shining gold is fun but I can only see myself using small amounts to add detail to other projects.Overall, good quality filament and a handy way to try out 4 different materials without spending a lot.

Poorly wound spools constantly Jamming and Snapping on the spool --- Print quality good though.
PLEASE SEE PHOTOS:Paid for higher-priced filament in the expectation this would be of better quality. It IS a good print quality WHEN YOU CAN GET IT OFF THE SPOOL !ISSUES (all 4 spools) :1) Very tight on the spool to the point that the filament could NOT be pulled off.2) Show signs of damage on the filament, impact marks, kinks etc (see photos)3) Due to them frequently jamming on the spool COULD NOT LEAVE THE PRINTER ALONE.The White one was not too bad, the others were poor, the blue spool was TERRIBLE with considerable damage to the filament and jamming every few minutes.PRINT QUALITY(using Artillery Sidewinder X2, 210 hot end, 60/65 bed, 40mms. 0.2 layer (higher temps and height initial layer)As a novice I'm pleased with the quality of the output HOWEVER all bar one the test models suffered filament breakage mid-print (more then once on the blue one) when it failed to come off the spool, which meant I had to catch it immediately, free the spool, and feed a new piece of filament into the extruder butted up against the broken end. This means you have to watch the printer constantly :-(

Really nice filament for the money
I bought this to top up an already extensive collection of shiny or "different" PLAs. I was attracted by the colours which were slightly different to what I already possess. I was not disappointed: the glitter gold and bronze are quite different to the typical ones. The wood is very like many PLA based wood fills, and while it doesn't say it contains woodchip the finish looks very nice. I was very pleased with the results. The last filament is marble, which is sold by a few competitors at a premium, this was especially nice and came out with an almost matt finish that hid printing lines. Very good for the money. The box was also different - it comes in a flat box which holds all 4 smaller boxes which was easier to dispose of. Only hitch is that the filament sizes are 225g rather than more common 250g for these packs, but you can buy the full sizes at 1kg if you like them. This is definitely more satisfactory for trying out filament than 10m packs that are generally pricey and too small to try anything substantial. VERY highly recommended.

Printed with same settings as other PLA I have
Was happy that it printed with the same settings I use for other PLA filaments. No blockages in the nozzle. I've only printed one item so far which is a simple extrusion and was hoping to see wood fibres on the exposed faces which were not there? It may be that I have not understood wood filaments fully? The weight of the print is similar to PLA, so quite light. Will print a detailed sculpture next to see if looks more like a wooden item.

Very cool and great fun!
I love this stuff! Usually I buy cheap stuff but I just got a new printer and wanted to have a bit of fun so picked up this selection box to play with. The good and bronze come out really well, lovely smooth prints with a great shine and really hide the layers well. The glow in the dark is great fun and really glows! It again prints really cleanly. The biggest surprise was the marble as it doesn’t look particularly great on the spool but the finished results are really stone like! All were printed with the Prusa mini presets so no tweaking, so I’m guessing with a little fiddling they would be even nicer but out of the box gave great results. If you want to have some fun with more interesting filaments without breaking the bank or potentially having loads of large spools lying around, give these a try!My only slight negative is the small spoils as they wouldn’t fit on my fixed bearing spool holder but luckily I have a “loo roll” type holder too so not a problem but something to be aware of
