High quality, flawed comfortable kneeling chair!
This is my second kneeling chair. The first was a wood construction with 2 relatively thin pads or cushions. I have 2 computers in my office and it was tedious to move the wooden chair (no wheels) to both workstations multiple times a day so I decided to get a 2nd kneeling chair. I have chronic low back pain with sciatica so a regular office chair does not work for me and the kneeling chairs work very well for me. I am 5' 11" and 218lbs.The good: Very easy to assemble; very thick seat and kneeling pads (4"); comfortable; adjustable in height and space between seat and kneeling pad (in other words, room to stick your legs through); and locking wheels. The bad: Nothing really bad here, however they could have put a few more holes in the frame for additional adjustability. Directions are ok for assembly, but horrible for telling you how to adjust for your body type, and how to use the adjustable support assembly. I had to take apart and reassemble a few times to get it to fit me. Not rocket science, but I had to find out what I needed to do on youtube. The ugly: Nothing ugly, might be nice to have a little more adjustability in the seat to take out some of the steep angle, but with the adjustability support rod I was able to get the seat position comfortable enough. As with all kneeling chairs it takes some getting used to as your weight is mostly supported by your shins. For me I have been using kneeling chairs for 6 or 7 years so there was no adjustment time for me, but if you are new to kneeling chairs you will need to stick with it until your body (shin) adapts. In summary, this is a step up from my wooden kneeling chair. Adjustability and thick pads go a long way to being able to sit upon it for an entire office day. I can sit pain free most of the day. Chronic back pain sufferers get use to a tolerable level of pain and kneeling chairs help. Wheels make positioning easy. Great chair, good price. When this wears out I will buy another.

So far, seems to be doing the trick
This is my first day using this chair. I am having much less back fatigue. It does put more of the burden on your legs, but for me this is fine. I don't think this is a chair you would want to sit in for 8 hours straight, but no chair is good for that. What I love is that it encourages me to sit up straight, but at the same time it not a straight jacket. I can take little breaks leaning forward and this helps immensely.Assembly was not too hard. Requires a bit of dexterity, and I could have used a helper, but I managed to get it together by myself in about 30 min, maybe less. One thing I am not crazy about is that the seat adjustment is a little clunky. But once you get that adjusted, it's not an issue. Also, I had to prop my laptop up on some books because it has me sitting much higher than a normal chair. Maybe I could adjust it down, but for right now this is working.I am hopeful that this chair will help me have better posture and less back and neck issues. I try to move about throughout the day...from chair to standing to even lying down a bit, and take frequent breaks. As far as this particular make and model of the kneeling chair, I think I picked a good one. It seems sturdy and the seat is comfy, with just enough padding, even though it looks pretty stiff. I was not going to spring for the $350 rocking model, so this one seems like the next best.I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is hard to adjust the height.

I think this chair is great and it's surprisingly comfortable
I think this chair is great and it's surprisingly comfortable. I've only been using it for about a week now, but I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort.I have very poor posture, I have arthritis in my neck, and I sit behind a computer at least 8 hours a day.My poor posture and hours of laptop and mobile phone use has lead me to severe neck and back pain.... And keep in mind I'm only 35 years old.I decided to try this chair on a whim, because at this point, anything is better than neck and back pain.(I've only been using this a week, so I'm not here to tell you that the chair has cured all my problems, that's obviously not true). HOWEVER, this chair forces me to correct my posture! Which is exactly what I need. After long periods of use, at times your shins/knees get a little tired but that's OK because it forces me to get up and actually walk around for few minutes. Which is a good thing, because it gives me a break from my computer for a few minutes.I bought a pillow to use for my bum which helps with comfort. I've never used it without a butt pillow, so not sure how comfortable it is without a butt pillow. The seat itself raises and lowers to your comfort. And the knee holders can be adjusted also by taking out the pin on the bottom of the chair and adjusting the pin to a different setting (further or closer to you). Also, I didn't get rid of my regular office chair. I like having the option of switching chairs in case I get tired during an 8 hour day. I have the option to sit back in a regular chair. These are just things that have worked for me.... I'm definitely happy with my purchase. Hopefully in a few months I'll notice my posture increase dramatically and my neck pain disappear (I'm hopeful for that!)
