DGFAN CYJ2200 6.56ft Lavalier Lapel Microphone with GoPro Adapter for HERO 3 3+ 4 / iPhone & Smartphones / DSLR and PC(Including Windscreen and Wind Muff )

I have a GoPro Hero 3 and purchased this mic so I can set it up in my helmet and motovlog. It was super easy to set up, and the quality is amazing. The quality of the sound is very very good and the piece of this mic is unbeatable. Installation is super easy you literally plug it in and turn the GoPro on and you’re set. In my case I had to drill a hole on my waterproof case so that I can plug in the mic while the case is on my helmet.Things I like:- Long cable included- Wind muff included- Great quality product- Clear audio/mic- DiscreteThings I dislike:- Pain to get it inserted through the hole on the case- Too long of a cable for helmet use

I had some complications with setting up this microphone, but finally got it to work. Using a Dell Inspiron laptop ~4 years old. Upon first use, the microphone was too quiet even with full volume and boost adjustments. I found out that I needed to download RealTek HD audio driver to help fix this problem. After installing that, the microphone works well.Using this to help with my video lectures that I record for my online classes ( I'm a teacher). This really helps to diminish background noises and allows my voice to be clearer. Clearer voice also makes my speech-to-text more accurate.

I purchased this microphone in hopes of using it with my camera. Unfortunately, like others the clip broke as soon as I tried to secure it to the microphone. Furthermore, my microphone does not seem to function correctly when connected to either of my cameras. Even when using the Y adapter (and without it) I get a loud hum noise.Maybe I got a dud, but either way, the company needs to change to a metal clip, the plastic clip is a joke and will break instantly!! Very disappointed.

I was searching for a lavalier mic with a shorter cord than my BOYA 20ft lavalier to use with my iPhone 6S on a stick or tripod. Disappointed this DGFAN mic did not provide any better audio than the iPhone 6S mic. The DGFAN mic audio is not bad, but there is no real benefit to use it with the iPhone.This DGFAN mic does provide a little better audio than the mic on my DSLR camera, but not enough for me to ditch my BOYA lavalier mic.This is not a bad product, but it does not provide enough benefit to purchase again.

The media could not be loaded.  The mic works so well that it picked up the fan noise while I was recording a test video!It’s small but packs a lot of power and it comes in a convenient and small bag.

Returned TWO of these. The clip that is supposed to hold the mic to the lapel breaks when you attempt to attach it to the mic itself. It is NOT on the mic in the package - bet the mfgr knows this is a defect. Its USELESS without something to clip the mic to your lapel. There are others on Amazon that actually work.

Solid mic. Plugged it in, delivered good sound on my GoPro. Even when I have the window open in the car, or other background noise, as long as it isn't blowing hard directly on the mic, the sound quality is acceptable. Quite happy with the purchase.

I use this to make YouTube Videos. The phone's mic just isn't good enough only for very close scenes. I purchased the Mic and the extension. Remember to use the right Jack, otherwise it won't work. I use the mic for everything even for close ups to keep the sound consistent.
