These Authentic Lederhosen are top notch quality. I usually wear a 36 but 36 was just too uncomfortable so after reading reviews i decided to go with 40 and they literally fell to the floor so I had to send them back a second time and get the 38 which fit. They are stiff and you need to move around in them to stretch them some. Once broken in they will feel even better. I ended up wearing them to my First Oktoberfest event and had them on for 8 hours and got so many compliments. They do not fit like your favorite jeans and they never will but they will definitely get more comfortable once they break in. The shoes were great. I usually wear an 11.5 EEEE sneaker and ordered a size 12 and they were perfect for me. The socks are a great authentic look and very comfortable and stayed in place the whole day. I can’t finish my review without giving credit to the amazing customer service that I received. Because I had to exchange the shorts twice it took some communication and effort. I was truly amazed how great the service was. I definitely recommend these Lederhosen and this merchant.

Overall a good value. Four stars, better than expected. Not the best but more than good enough. Fit: True to size for pants, shoes, and shirt. I purposely ordered pants a size larger than my waist. The pants were loose which was exactly what I wanted. During Oktoberfest I comfortably over indulged in brats, schnitzel, potato pancakes and und Beer! Win. The shirt is decent quality for fit, fabric and well sewn. The socks pull up over the calf and the elastic is perfect - no sag the entire night while dancing to Polka. The elastic is comfortable not overly constrictive. The suspenders and front chest piece are cheap and thin -- costume like. Shoes are not bad. True to size, not loose, not tight. The shoes aren't great but easily wearable for 3 or 4 hours festivities including polka dancing with my pretty frau. Summary - a good costume of higher quality. It is not exactly the "real thing" but a fine representation and worth the price paid of $159. Good look and comfortable for the one or two nights a year I enjoy old Bavarian tradition.

Super fast shipping. All items are real, high quality and look great. Fit is accurate and comfortable. Lederhosen are beautiful suede with traditional embroidery, real buttonholes, rustic textured buttons, and metal buckles to adjust suspenders length. There is an adjustment available to the waist in the back with a leather thong to cinch it, as well as two button positions in front to take in waist a bit. Shirt material is true, woven gingham, and is well sewn. Stockings are cable knit, and fit nicely. Shoes are nicely crafted, with a lug sole and sewn welt that not only look great, but fit well.

Great quality! Great fit! The Lederhosen are a soft suede. The shirt can be used not as a costume and washed up beautifully. The shoes are also good quality! What a find!

Order came in a timely manner. Great quality leather, and pretty comfortable. I ordered a size up just in case. It arrived a little snug, but the outfit itself was adjustable so it fit no problem after adjusting it. Great customer service, and friendly.

I've waited on my review, as I had three separate chances to wear the products in the course of about 2 weeks. Initial thoughts: Customer service was fantastic! I ordered on a weekend, and within minutes, I had an email (clearly not an auto-email) asking for my shoe size and confirming other sizes, and got a response confirming that. Easy! TL;DR - overall it's a good product with some minor tweaks, provided with great customer service; would buy again hands-down. The Good: - Assembly (suspenders) was fairly straightforward, everything looked to be very sturdy. - The pants are a pretty heavy and durable material, but not so heavy that you can't polka! - The design and of this set is different than the set that almost everyone else buys from Amazon, the gray or brown ones. So this set got me a lot of compliments! A lot of people thought I got it from Germany directly, but I'm sure an enthusiast would notice subtle differences. - The shirt is a really good fit, though it could use to be a bit longer at the waist so it doesn't feel like it's untucking. It doesn't actually untuck, but just would give a little reassurance. - The pants have 2 pockets! (more on this in The Bad) - The socks and shoes are comfortably warm on a mild summer day (50F-60F) and on a fall day (30F-50F). It was chilly in the morning, but the first beer quickly fixed that! The Bad: - When it arrives, the shirt is pinned together with what seem like 100 pins. I thought I had them all out but missed the ones in the back as they're relatively small and fairly difficult to see on the blue-white checkered shirt. Once the pins were out, the shirt was fine, it was just a little frustrating being stabbed when I thought I was finally safe. - The shoes KILLED the back of my feet the first time I wore them. Do yourself a favor, get a set of foam heel pads, could be the ones used for lady's high heels (yes, lady's high heel pads, those things just plain work). After that, the shoes are great! Half-star off for this reason. - The right side pants pocket self-destructed during the 3rd use, and I feel the left side wasn't far behind. I wound up with string all over and inside my wallet after it fell out my pant leg. I have a small wallet in the right and a Pixel phone in the left. The pocket itself is still attached, but it just had a gaping hole. After two uses that's pretty disappointing, but I'll probably just sew it back together. Half-star off for this reason.

I did my research and decided to purchase this set. Once I received it of course I had to try it on. It fit very well. When I read the reviews most were saying to order a size up since they fit a little snug. I'm a 38 and I ordered 40, which fit perfect. I'm an XL shirt so I ordered XXL which was also a good choice. I ordered the a size up on the shoes as well and they are still a little snug but they fit. The shoes are not comfortable at all so I plan on trying inserts. The quality of the shorts is much better than I expected, however the suspenders are a little thin and I hope that they survive the event that we are going to attend. We are going to Munich Germany in September for a traditional Octoberfest.
