I was concerned when this arrived, as it looks so small to me. I have five kids, so even though three of them are out of the house now, I still think in terms of cooking for seven, and most of those being teen boys.I was struck though at how gorgeous the pan is. I absolutely love this blue.I've been using this saute pan for three weeks now, and I really do love it. I made a skillet meal in it first, and I've used it for eggs, for frying up fish, for salmon patties, and I'm quite sure there is more. Everything has cooked evenly, and it really does not stick to the pan. Cleanup is easy, and that is with my handwashing everything (we don't have a dishwasher). The lid fits nicely onto the pan.One of the skillet meals I made, I cooked up on the stovetop, and then added cheese and put it into the oven to melt and crisp up. That worked great, and I really love being able to do that.The only negative, which wasn't quite enough for me to deduct a star, is that the handle on the pan does get pretty hot when cooking. That's probably part of why it is oven-safe though, so it is worth it to me.Also, since I was initially freaked out a bit about the size, I do have to add that I was pleased at just how much food does fit in this pan.

This is an amazing pan, very high quality and looks/works just like described. It heats up really quickly and evenly, the lid fits securely and the handles make it easy to maneuver. I love this pan and am 100% satisfied with my purchase, and will buy more to add to my kitchen

The quality of construction is superb and the performance of the pan is simply perfection. The enameling is nice and even without pits or cracks. The surface is safe for metal utensils, and it's slick enough for food to release with ease. The base metal is stainless steel and it handles well. I really appreciate the smooth rivet-less interior on the pan, I really get annoyed by those rivets as it will cause my spatula to catch on it or allow food to crust around the rivets. Not this one. If you are looking into investing into quality cookware, you will not regret this one.

I had the opportunity to try out a stock pot from this brand recently and was thoroughly impressed. So when I had the chance to try out this Merten & Storck 3QT Saute Pan Jumbo Cooker in the same beautiful blue color I jumped on it.First I just need to pay homage to the color and finish, and really just the overall look of this sauté pan. It is just absolutely gorgeous! And what’s more is it is also very well made and cooks perfectly. The quality is top notch like one would expect from this price range, and this also cooks well and the heat is distributed evenly. This sauté pan also is non stick and easy to clean, plus it’s dishwasher safe which is always a plus. Overall highly recommend this one!

This pan is beautiful! I got it in blue and you can’t tell from the pictures, but the bottom is darker and gradually gets lighter. The lid fits perfectly and the brand is etched into the handle as well as the lid. I do wish there was a steam vent in the lid, but it’s solid. The inside of the pan is very slippery and nothing sticks to it, even without oil or butter. Food washes off easily with minimal scrubbing. I haven’t put it in the dishwasher yet, but it can also be washed that way.The pan is heavy and durable, although it’s hard to move it when it’s filled with food. Also the handle is metal and gets very hot. Other than that this is an excellent pan that you can use to prepare a variety of meals.

These are pretty fantastic cookware. Heavy, well-made, well-designed, gorgeous, and they heat nicely and evenly. They clean-up easy...did I mention they look great?I have been using the sauté pan for a month now and I really can't find anything I don't like about it. It is better than my other pans in every way; although the extra weight may be of consideration if you are elderly or with limited mobility. Goodbye stainless, goodbye non-stick, hello Merten & Storck enameled steel!

What a great quality pan I cook with this pan all the time its one of my favorite pans I own, it heats evenly my food cooks perfect each time. definitely recommend It a high-quality pan and worth the money

This is a heavy-duty, very sturdy, durable, and very elegant 3QT saute pan with a thick steel core. The steel base heats quickly and evenly. It does not warp, wobble, or degrade over time. This is my first purchase of this brand of pan. I like that the skillet has higher sides. So far, nothing sticks (maybe it is because I slow cook), and I never had to scratch off the burned rice, pasta or eggs. I am using this pan for everything. It has great heat distribution with everything cooking evenly. In short, the pan is amazing. The most important thing for me it is nonstick, and the handle never gets hot. The pan is somewhat heavy, but not as heavy as cast iron. The lid comes in very handy, as I can watch how the food is being cooked. I'm not a professional chef, but this is by far the best pan I have ever used.
