I purchased this product to use with preschool through early elementary-aged children with speech and language problems. I've found it to be very versatile for a wide range of abilities and skills. One of my students who has a profound cognitive and hearing impairment can match the animal pairs while I say and sign the animal's name for him to imitate. Other students can be prompted to say a sentence for the particular picture disk they pick, e.g., "A worm lives underground." (My one gripe is that a fox does not really "live" underground, so we have to change the verb to "sleeps." I would have preferred to have a different animal to complete that board. Still, putting the fox to sleep in his underground den does open up an opportunity for discussion and language enrichment, as does introducing geographic locations like Antartica and Africa, which unfortunately is way too abstract a concept for the majority of my Special Day Class students, but perhaps still worth introducing.) More advanced students can be further challenged to identify and state the visual differences between the matching animal on the board and the picture card. When it's time to clean up, all the kids enjoy replacing the sturdy picture disks into their corresponding "puzzle" mat, so don't throw those away! ;-)

My mother-in-law recently bought this for my children (ages 20 months and 3 years), and they loved it so much I decided to write a review. I love that you can play bingo, match the animal to the environment they live in, and spot the difference on the animal from the card to the bingo chip. My kids actually sit still to play this for a little bit which doesn't often happen! Definitely recommend.

I gave this game for my daughter's 2nd bday and she absolutely loves it! We play every morning and evening! Great family game for such young kids!
