There’s a Monster in Your Book has quickly become one of our absolute favorite books to read with our 2 1/2-year-old. From the very first time we opened it, she was completely captivated. She giggled, laughed, and couldn’t wait to see what would happen on the next page. It’s such a fun, creative story that engages kids in a way I haven’t seen with many other books. What sets this book apart is how interactive it is without relying on anything fancy like sounds or flaps. It encourages imagination and movement, making it so much more than just looking at pictures. It’s an experience! Even as the adult reading it, I found myself fully engaged, wondering what was coming next. It’s such a page-turner, both for little ones and for grown-ups experiencing it for the first time. Our daughter loves it so much that we ended up reading it three or four times a night for several nights in a row. She even took it back and forth between us so both Mommy and Daddy could read it to her! She loves the pictures, the words, and the interactive elements, and it’s amazing to see how much she’s picked up already—she even “reads along” with us now. We were so impressed with this book that we ordered a second copy to send to her school so the other kids could enjoy it too. It’s that good. With how many books we read (20-30 per week or more!), for this one to make it to the top of her list says a lot. This book is perfect for encouraging imagination, building vocabulary, and just having fun. It’s a fantastic gift idea for any child, and it’s become a staple in our nightly reading routine. I highly recommend it for parents, grandparents, or anyone looking for a thoughtful and entertaining book for kids. It’s truly a gem!

This is a wonderful, interactive book for babies and toddlers. You try to get the monster out of the book by shaking, tilting, blowing, making a noise to get that monster out. In the end, it is decided it's better for the monster to be in the book than in your room! All of my grandchildren have greatly enjoyed this book.

I am a daycare teacher, and I have 2 years to 2 1/2 year old children. They just love this book, and asked me to read it often. They have a lot of the book memorized. And they will read it to me.

Love this book! I always gift it for baby showers. Parents always say it is one of the child’s favorite books. So fun and interactive.

Such a fun, interactive book for the kiddos. I have read this book to my nanny kids and my nephews and nieces, and every single one of them enjoyed each page and made them laugh. I recommend esp if they have a harder time reading or staying put!

This is our second copy of this book. We read it at least twice a day. My kids love the interaction they get to do. With preschoolers they need a moment sometimes to talk about the book as each page is turned. This book gives them that chance because it’s built into the story.

This is a favourite!

The absolute most fun book to read for two years and up!

My son LOVES this book! He loves doing the actions on every page and will even quietly “read” it to himself and do the actions. Really great for helping to develop language skills and copy actions.
