The product is well made and easy to install. You do not need to use the plastic pins for installation. They are meant to help make a tighter fit and are vandal-resistant. DO NOT make the same mistake I did and order the 2 piece kit. Most installations need the 3 piece kit for both hot and cold water supplies.
