Love this product. Smooth...can make iced coffee with this! Tastes great hot too
My favorite instant coffee. It being acid neutralized - makes it extremely smooth for a coffee. The wild card in its appeal for me is that i can make iced coffee with this - without that bitter taste of when you try to make hot coffee into iced coffee! Granted - I can use a cold press or some sort of authentic way but thats extremely time consuming for someone on the go.I put in a teaspoon of this. Put a small bit of hot water to wet it - quickly stir it up - and then add cold water and ice.Makes some of the best iced coffee ive ever had if you just add some half and half or flavored creamer.

My pretend coffee
I have a serious bladder disorder and must keep my diet as acid free as possible. Kava used to be 90 0/0 acid free, but is now 50 0/0 acid free. It is the best tasting low acid coffee there is. Amazon is the only place that I have found that carries it as Bordens quit making it several years ago. The coffee is made by adding hot water to a measured amount of coffee to suit individual taste. I drink 1 or 2 cups of coffee a day. So if you need a low acid coffee I would reccommend Kava!

this coffee is not like other instant coffees
I know what you are thinking...Instant coffee? Let me tell you, this coffee is not like other instant coffees. I was skeptical at first too. The taste is so robust and not chalky like other instant coffee. It comes in granules rather than a fine powder. You do mix it with water like the others but for some reason there is so much more of a kick with this one. My husband and I noticed that we got more of a jag with this little instant coffee than some of the regular coffees we found at the store. We like to take this little jar camping with us because all we have to do is boil some water and don't have to wait to percolate some over the camp fire. The size of the jar is also convenient for packing in our camp gear. The jar is glass so it won't smush up on you or leak into your pack. You could also repurpose the glass jar when finished if you like to recycle. Enjoy my friends!!

The price is being juiced. Avoid at $14.95 for 4 oz.

Feel it's one of the BETTER ones out there
My husband and I love this coffee. We use a coffee pot to brew coffee but when we can't be bothered to brew in the coffee pot we just heat a cup of water and add a teaspoon or two of the Kava instant granules and we can enjoy a nice hot cup of coffee in no time. Repeat buyer of this brand of instant coffee. I feel it's one of the better ones out there. You can adjust the taste and strength to your liking by adding as much or as little as you like. Good buy.

Expiry date rubbed off -- old stock?
The expiry date had been rubbed off the lid, but other text on the lid was intact. A label pasted on the side gave an expiry date of 2019. I have no way of knowing it isn't old stock from 10 years ago that someone is unloading. The rubbed-off date and pasted-on label did not fill me with confidence.
