All as advertised! This is an excellent replacement for all of those old plastic storage containers you have been using for the freezer and refrigerator, recycle those and use these. Also nice that most are in a rectangular format which uses space more efficiently than round. Why soup is always in round?- no reason - use square. Use everywhere, except microwave of course.My only wish is that it included one spare of each size gasket. These are removable and replaceable.So good I bought another to give as a Christmas gift.John Z

These metal containers with plastic lids are a total win! I use them for bulk-prepped raw dog food, and they’re amazing—no leaks, even after freezing and thawing. They don’t absorb any funky smells or flavors either, which is a huge plus. The round ones are perfect for fruits or chopped veggies too. Lightweight but super durable, and they hold up great in the dishwasher. Honestly, they’ve made meal prep so much easier!

These are just my initial impressions after unboxing.I read that these containers were super cheap and they could be bent with one's own hand strength. I say false. They are very sturdy...unless you are a bodybuilder and purposefully try to bend them with your hand?The lids are very cheap and flimsy plastic, as some others have posted, and I don't expect them to last long. If fact, I bet they will start warping after being used and washed a couple times. If that happens, I will use my bowl covers or tin foil. Overall, I feel it is a nice set, that can nest together to save space, of different sized containers. Be aware that the largest container of which there is only one, holds about 6 cups (1500 ml) and they get smaller.

I purchased these to organize my freezer, but found these to be perfect for my fridge as well. These are perfect to store left over spinach and other greens, mushrooms, chick pees, baby tomatoes, garlic and so much more. They are just the right size, light weight, feel nice in your hands, easy to wash/dry. They came in perfectly packaged. The lids close easily and tightly. I only write reviews when I love a product or when I hate it. And this one is absolutely love! I even facetimed my mom to show her how practical and beautiful these are.UPDATE: I've been using these contains for 2 weeks and just logged back in to order more. My mother in law commented on how cute they are and I couldn't stop gushing over how practical they are. I now store nuts and ground coffee in these as well. Everything stays so fresh, it's actually unreal. You know how quickly cucumbers go slimy and cherry tomatoes go soft? Well, in these I've had cucumbers and tomatoes stored for 2 weeks... and they look like I just brought them from the store.

These containers are a great value. There are quality and can be used for hot or cold items. Stainless steel makes them easy to clean and sanitize. The different sizes make the very versatile. Would definitely recommend and buy again.

The media could not be loaded. We have been using only glass for food storage for years now, in our shift away from all things plastic.. but glass is still heavy, and occasionally pieces would fall and break. Now that our little kids are coming to an age where they like to help in the kitchen a lot, we don't really want them having to take heavy glass containers in/out of the fridge all the time, and risk breakage and injury.We ordered this set, and were excited to extend our Stainless Steel collection lol! (Pots and pans, plates, bowls, tumbler cups, cooking utensils, silverware, collanders and mixing bowls, etc)We loved these stainless steel food storage containers so much after we started using them, we bought a second set! All friends and family that visit also comment on how much they like them. You really just can't beat stainless steel! We have peace of mind knowing we aren't storing food in plastic, and we aren't still using the heavy/breakable glass..Cliffnotes:- these hold so much food!- they don't/can't break!- they're very light, and are easy even for children and seniors to handle- they clean easily, manually or in the dishwasher- perfect for taking to school/work/picnic (so light, and don't leak!)- can reheat foods directly from storage containers, in the toaster oven (we don't use microwaves)- we replaced ALL of our glass storage containers with two sets of these stainless steel containers- we are keeping these containers in mind as gifts for family
