All three items are wireless rechargeable and sounds good..
Works quite well with my Sony blue tooth speaker. I have it as a transmitter for my non-blue tooth mp3 player. All three items are wireless rechargeable and sounds good...Clear with good over all tone. Good price and good product.

Choppy/Skippy Connection
I LOVED IT, until the signal crapped out. Works for about an hour, then the connection starts skipping until you reset it (audio sounds like a skipping record). This happens whether on battery or plugged in, and regardless of which device is connected, even with paired devices 3' apart, no idea why. Annoying when movies need to be interrupted to reset bluetooth connection.

It was easy to pair with other Bluetooth devices
The Altman worked as advertised in both the Receive and Transmit modes. It was easy to pair with other Bluetooth devices. I am very happy with this purchase.

Good quirky overall
Does what it’s supoosed to do. Good quirky overall. My only gripe is sometimes it’s slow to pair depending on the other device.

Worked with my old TV.
Had minor difficultly pairing with my headphones at first but it works fine now and to a good distance. I used an RCA adapter to connect to my old TV.

9 MONTH UPDATE So far so good, 1 week update, very happy with it!
9 MONTH UPDATEMy original review is below but here is my 9 month update.Bluetooth still working great, connects every time in seconds, approx 3-5seconds from turning on it has connected to my iPhone 7 Plus or iPhone SE, sound quality whilst bluetoothing is 8/10 good. You do lose some bitrate in Bluetooth transfer, this is for all Bluetooth devices, and also if your streaming internet radio via app your limited to the quality of the broadcast, i think this is what other reviews are complaining about but if your streaming high quality audio from your phone it will play on your car stereo at 8.5-9/10 quality as you will always lose a little with the Bluetooth transfer on any device. It’s only noticeable if you instantly play a cd on the head unit as a comparison. It’s very little and you won’t notice it otherwise, I don’t know why other reviews are making such a big deal out of it???Connection has been 100% stable, I’m using it on another car to my original I purchased it for, easy to connect as long as you have that 3.5mm jack connection on the headunit.Battery life is weeks for me, definitely up around 9hrs before recharging which takes about 2hrs or so.For a simple way to play music from your phone it’s fantastic, sound quality is still very good, I have my car speakers running off a big amp in the boot and it’s only when volumes get loud that you notice a small drop in bass representation compared to cd. Nit picking tbh.Still I’d recommend this Bluetooth receiver/transmitter happily to anyone wanting a good priced, long battery life and 100% solid connection Bluetooth.Nicely boxed, looks to be from China, the instructions are translated so the wording is a bit odd but easy enough to understand what they mean. The receiver is smaller than expected. Smaller than a matchbox. I used a 3M sticky pad from a spare GoPro mount to fix it to my car dash.It came with a short 4” long 3.5mm connector lead which I’ve used to keep it looking neat and tidy.Paired straight away with my iPhone 7 Plus, and second to my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini.Music playback is crisp and sounds great, same as when using a wired 3.5mm jack connector direct to my iPhone on my Ford car stereo.Good detail that the charger connector and jack connector are at the bottom of the receiver so neat as well as nicely balanced. Many others Bluetooth receivers seem to have the wires come out the side and so can ‘twist’ it off the dash. This one they hang down so much better. Will update once I’ve got use out of it with pros and cons.UPDATE So far after one week this has been a fantastic purchase. Connects every time within seconds. Sound quality is no different to cd(using my iPhone playing Amazon Music), battery has lasted at least 8 hrs so far, I really can’t fault this little gadget. £12.99 is much cheaper than most other alternatives too, this deserves 5* all day long.

Great value simple to work
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is a simple to use Bluetooth transmitter and receiver with 3.5mm connection. Pairing to my Android phone was easy and there was gentle beeps to signal when pairing had occurred. The light on top also changes colour depending on the status. This only had 3.5mm connection but that's exactly what I needed for sending Bluetooth audio from my phone to my speakers. Signal is strong from across a large room. Best value option I found. Works but poor sound quality
It works as advertised but I find the sound "compressed" i.e. lacking in bass and top end. I was using it to get my Amazon Echo to connect to my hifi. Sound quality is so poor I have stopped using it.

Does not work
Useless. Refuses to pair either with my new Bluetooth headphones, my Android phone or any other device.

Perfection
A lovely little unit. Does what it says on the tin. Instructions are clear and you will not really need them as the unit is quite easy to use.
