Solid Metal - High Quality Grohe Fixture!
Solid metal faucet that is heavy duty. This model comes WITHOUT the popup drain and I wanted it that way. I bought 4 of these and installed them in my rental property without the popup drain so I wouldn't need to retrieve my tenants belongings when they drop rings & other stuff down the drain. You'll need to purchase a 1-1/4" grid strainer to go with your sink as this model doesn't come with the pop-up drain. The handle is smooth and the faucet is easy to install on a solid surface countertop. It comes with integral supplies that connect directly to your Cold & Hot water connections under the sink. I will update this review if I have any problems. So far I'm really satisfied.

Solid, good designl. Unlike the description its not made in Germany but made in Thailand.
I have used Grohe faucet and shower units in my house. No complaints but the web site of Amazon shows this faucet as made in Germany while it really mage in Thailand. The difference is obvious. I'm little disappointed. I doubt I'll ever order things from Amazon again.

Overall very happy with this faucet. Doesn't look or feel like the cheap one I had. It was very easy to install and matches my new vanity very well. Buying online, I was worried that the faucet might look big on the vanity or disproportionate because vanity is compact, but fortunately it wasn't the case and I think it works really well.

Quality faucet
Looks great and works great with smooth action. It would be nice if they labeled the warm/cold feeds but it's easy to guess which is which and if you're wrong, swap them.

Installed faucet and chrome plating peeled off 3 weeks later.
Poor chrome plating.Called Grohe support. on hold for an hour now and no end in site.
